Spellbinders | March 2023 Quick & Easy Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing four cards created with the Spellbinders March 2023 Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month. The “Bee Yourself” kit includes 6×6 patterned paper, die cut shapes, sticker sentiments, embellishments, card bases, sequins, and more!

Add visual interest with the background patterned paper by cutting it with dies in the Essential Rectangles set. The dot pattern adds a delicate border that suits the card theme.

Use the sequins included in the kit for a shaker card. With a die in the Essential Arches set, cut an arch from patterned paper and again from two layers of glitter foam. Sandwich the assembly with a sheet of acetate between the patterned paper on the front and the foam. Back the assembly, after adding the sequins, with patterned paper and a card base. Affix elements to acetate and the card front.

Add sequins as an embellishment for visual interest.

With a die in the Essential Ovals set, cut an oval from cardstock included in the kit to ground the focal elements against the patterned paper background.

Spellbinders | March 2023 Large Die of the Month

Hello and happy March! I feel a sense of relief when we get to March, as in spring is on its way. Today, I am sharing a three-dimensional birthday card (that collapses for mailing) created with the Spellbinders March 2023 Large Die of the Month “Flowering Tree” set. While I have shown a 3D card, the set can just as easily be used for a 2D card showcasing the beautiful tree.

With the Large Die of the Month set, cut the tree, leaves, and flowers from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble and set aside. (Note: I used spring colors for the blooms; the colors can easily be changed for the summer season.) Cut sentiment pieces from Snowdrift cardstock.
Using dies in the Large Die of the Month set, cut the base from Waterfall cardstock and assemble.
Cut clouds from Snowdrift cardstock with dies in the On Cloud Nine set. Add for the background to the tree.
Attach tree and sentiment to card base. Embellish with bird cut using the Sweet Birds on a Branch set.

Spellbinders | Club Kits Teacup Bouquet

Hello! Today I am sharing a friendship card on which I have combined two of the Spellbinders February 2023 Club Kits – the Large Die of the Month and the Spring Tea die set.

Glimmer-foil the Inside Card sentiment in Gold on Seaglass cardstock.
Cut sentiment panel with dies in the Essential Rectangles set. Add to textured, white cardstock base.
Cut teacup from coral cardstock with die in the Spring Tea set; adhere handle to cup.
Cut floral pieces with the Large Die of the Month set from Snowdrift, soft yellow, and green cardstock. Fussy-cut greenery to fill teacup. Assemble bouquet and add to teacup. using foam adhesive as necessary for depth.
Add the teacup bouquet to the card background with foam adhesive; embellish card with Gold Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | February 2023 Large Die of the Month Take Two

Hello! Today, I am sharing a spring-themed card showcasing the Spellbinders February 2023 Large Die of the Month “Spring Reflection” set. I previously shared a card created with the set here. For this version, I used a different side panel, different sentiment, different floral option, as well as a different color palette!

Cut A2-size background from purple cardstock with A2-size die included in the Large Die of the Month set. Add to card base.
To create tone-on-tone background, cut panels from purple cardstock and adhere to card.
Cut oval from soft yellow cardstock and add to card.
Cut greenery from green cardstock. Cut floral pieces from Snowdrift, light blue, and soft yellow cardstock. Assemble and add to greenery elements.
Add floral assemblies to oval.
Cut sentiment from soft yellow cardstock and add to center with foam adhesive.

Spellbinders | February 2023 Spring Tea Die Set

Hello! Today I am sharing an Easter-themed card showcasing the cute Spellbinders Spring Tea die set, which coordinates with the February 2023 Quick & Easy Card Kit. I shared projects created with the Quick & Easy Card Kit here. Scroll for info on a Glimmer Hot Foil sale at Spellbinders.

To create the card background, cut patterned paper from the Quick & Easy Card Kit and adhere to a card base (the kit includes eight bases and eight envelopes).
Cut 3-inch circle from blue cardstock with Essential Circles die. Add to card.
Cut bunny, cup, flowers, and leaves from a variety of cardstock colors includingSnowdrift and Chamomile.
Adhere Quick & Easy Card Kit sticker sentiment to cardstock (for additional stability) and add to card with foam adhesive.
Embellish with Gold Mix Gems (the background paper has metallic gold in the paper) and a Quick & Easy Card Kit butterfly.
