Hello! If you’re craving a bit of whimsy and salt air, today’s card delivers both with a playful nautical scene. Created with the Spellbinders “Shipmates” die set – the June 2025 Small Die of the Month offering – the card stars a walrus and a seagull in a charming, storybook-like style. The sentiment “Seas the Day” sets a cheerful tone, and the dry-embossed fishing net background adds texture and reinforces the maritime theme. Whether you’re crafting for a beach lover or just love ocean-inspired designs, this card is sure to bring a smile!

- Dry-emboss an A2-size cardstock panel with the Cast Away folder. Add to a card base.
- Cut the Small Die of the Month elements and assemble. Add assemblies to the prepared card base.
- Stamp the Fair Winds sentiment and cut with coordinating die. Add to the card.

Spellbinders | Floral Beauty

Hello! There’s something timeless about a card full of beautiful blooms, and today I’m sharing a floral design created with several Spellbinders die sets. One of the featured sets was originally the January 2023 Large Die of the Month Club kit; it’s available for individual purchase—perfect if you missed it the first time around! I love combining die sets to build unique arrangements.

- Dry emboss a cardstock panel with the Flowers & Foliage folder. Add to a 5″ x 7″ card base.
- Cut the Club Blooms pieces from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble as required.
- Cut the pot with dies in the Azalea and Garden Pot set and assemble as necessary.
- Adhere the pot, blooms, and foliage to the card base.
- Stamp the Message Strips sentiment with blue ink and cut with a banner die in the set. Add sentiment across the pot.

Spellbinders | Relax & Enjoy

Hello! The Fairways & Fish Tales kit (the March 2025 Small Die Kit Club offering) from Spellbinders is full of creative possibilities, whether you’re crafting for a golf enthusiast or someone who loves a quiet day on the water. For this card, I focused on the fishing elements, creating a serene scene with a single fisherman and the sentiment “Relax, and enjoy!” A new color palette gives it a totally different feel from my previous card, proving the versatility of this kit.

- Create an A2-size card base.
- Cut Fairways & Fish Tales elements from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble as necessary. Add assembled elements to the prepared card base, using foam squares to pop up elements
- Stamp the Fair Winds sentiment in navy ink. I cut the sentiment with a cloud die that was included in the June 2024 DOML set “Summer Vacay,” which is no longer available. (The Fair Winds set includes dies to cut the sentiments and the coordinating die could be used to cut the sentiment.) Add the stamped sentiment to the card base.

Cheerful Crayon Card with Caboodle Set

Hello! Bright, cheerful, and full of personality—this mini-slimline card showcases five anthropomorphic crayons made with this month’s Caboodle bonus set Yay! Crayons” from Spellbinders. Each crayon has expressive faces, arms, and legs, bringing playful character to the design. The sentiment “You color me happy” makes this card perfect for celebrating friendship, thanking a teacher, or sending a smile just because.

- Create a 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ card base. Cover with patterned paper sized 6 1/4″ x 3 1/4″.
- Die-cut the crayons with the Caboodle bonus set from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Heat-emboss the sentiment with one of the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments stamps. Cut with a banner die.
- Add elements to prepared card base.

Encouragement Card: Fridge Door Scene

Hello! Today I’m sharing a handmade encouragement card that’s perfect for busy moms navigating the chaos of end-of-school season. Created with Spellbinders die sets, this card features a refrigerator door covered in magnetic alphabet letters that spell “just breathe,” along with tiny notes and photos that reflect the hustle of everyday life. When opened, the card reveals shelves stocked with kitchen staples like ketchup, mustard, and jam—reminding the recipient that even in the busiest seasons, they are thought of and supported.

The “Spell It Out Fridge” die set can be used to make a shaped card with or without the fridge interior.

- With the “Spell It Out Fridge” die set, cut the fridge door front from cardstock and use other dies in the set to cut the magnets, notes, photos, and fridge magnets.
- Cut the fridge interior panel. Trim off the left-hand side flap and add the fridge door front. Use dies in the “Spell It Out Fridge” die set to cut the fridge door shelves. Assemble.
- Cut the fridge foods with dies in the Spell It Out Fridge Staples set. Assemble.
- Add assembled items to the fridge door front and interior.

I opted to add the fridge door shelves on the right-hand side. A message can be written on the left-hand side or below the door shelves. Alternately, put the fridge door shelves on the left-hand side and add the personalization on the right!
