Memory Box – Adventure Awaits

Hello! A more apt title for this post might be “Summer Has Sailed Away”!  I created this CAS, nautical-themed card with a Memory Box die set, a Memory Box stamp set, and a Reverse Confetti frame die. I previous used the Marina Sailboats on this card.

Memory Box - Adventure Awaits

  • I cut the Marina Sailboats from red, white, and navy cardstock. I trimmed pieces to change the color of the hulls.
  • I applied Distress Oxide inks to a background piece and set it aside.
  • I cut the frame and stamped the You Anchor Me sentiment using a stamping tool.
  • I added the Distress Oxide panel to the back of the frame and the sailboats to the scene.

Spellbinders – Christmas Night Scene

Hello! Today I am sharing a holiday card created with the recently-released Spellbinders Holiday Medley Collection showcasing the Silent Night Make a Scene and All is Calm Word Frame die sets.

Spellbinders - Christmas Night Scene

While the Silent Night Make a Scene set is designed to work with the Make a Scene set (see my cards using that set here) to create a kinetic card, I created a static scene card.

Spellbinders Holiday Medley All is Calm Word Frame
I created a base and frame for the scene with the Scallop Façade Frame set. I die-cut snow banks with the Color Block Scenic Scape set, (this die set has been my go-to for holiday cards this year), from glitter cardstock.

Spellbinders - Christmas Night Scene

I die-cut the elements from the Silent Night Make a Scene set and All is Calm Word Frame from white, colored, and silver foil cardstock. The houses were backed with silver foil cardstock.

I assembled the scene and added Silver Mix Gems to the snowflake centers and the lead reindeer’s nose.
