Lawn Fawn Father’s Day Card

Hello! With Father’s Day just a few weeks away (how did it get to be almost June!), I’m sharing a Father’s Day card created with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

I created a forest/mountain scene with a trio of Copic-colored critters (not realistic at all!).

Stamping the Dad + Me sentiment on one of the Everyday Sentiment Banners made it easier for me to place the critters than if I had chosen to heat-emboss the sentiment on the forest panel. I used different Copic-combinations of browns for the critters so that they wouldn’t all be colored the same.

Your Wave Is Waiting – CAS Taylored Expressions Beach-Themed Card

Hello! With Memorial Day just around the corner (the weekend that heralds the beginning of summer), I’ve been busy making summer-themed cards. Headed to the beach or thinking about the beach? My CAS card combines summer/beach-themed products from Taylored Expressions.

I used the inlaid die-cutting technique with the Build a Scene – Rolling Waves and the Summer Sunnies sunglasses. The sentiment from Big Kahuna fit the theme perfectly. I took my cue for the colors from the patterned paper in TE 6×6 Paper Pack – Double the Joy.

I couldn’t resist adding the Little Bits – Flip Flops (I’m pretty sure this is my most used Taylored Expressions product ever) and a flower created with the Mini Bloomers 2 set.

Lawn Fawn Flamingo Hello

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a Hello card created with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

Lawn Fawn Flamingo Together

I stamped and colored the Flamingo Together images with Copic markers. I added the colored flamingos, cut with their corresponding dies, to a panel on which I combined Distress Inks using the Claritystamp Brushes. I cut the letters with Cole’s ABCs from white cardstock and foam.

To finish off the card, I used a die in the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables set to create a flirty frame which I felt went well with the feminine theme of the card.

I cut the sentiment with the 51-340 Dream Big die several times for additional depth. I cut the fish with the 51-314 Fancy Fish die from a variety of cardstock colors. I used an embossing folder for the waves peeking out through the hole.

Taylored Expressions Spring Owl Love Card

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a spring-themed love card (appropriate for a variety of recipients) created with a combination of Taylored Expressions stamps and dies.

I cut the Shade Tree Cutting Plate from Toffee cardstock and trimmed it to fit inside the frame, which I cut with a die in the Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 set. I placed the Little Bits – Owl in the tree, after adding leaves cut with On a Limb – Leaves from two shades of green cardstock. I don’t typically use a lot of purple in my paper crafting, but I really like how the purple goes with the green.

To ground the scene, I added a strip of grass cut with the Grass Border die. The sentiment is from the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp & die combo.
