Spellbinders January Small Die of the Month

Hello! I am delighted to share a friendship card featuring the Spellbinders January Small Die of the Month Club Kit – “Sitting Pretty.” In addition to a friendship card, the elements in the kit can be used for a variety of occasions – congratulations on an engagement, a Valentine, or “Just Because.”

- To begin, dry-emboss an A2-size Chamomile cardstock panel with the Tiny Dots folder. Attach to card base.
- Glimmer foil a Mini Everyday sentiment in Gold on Dahlia cardstock. Cut with banner die included in the Mini Everyday set.
- Cut Small Die of the Month elements from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble and add to card front, using foam adhesive as necessary.
- To embellish, add pink enamel dots.

Spellbinders January Large Die of the Month

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card suitable for a number of occasions featuring the Spellbinders January 2024 Large Die of the Month Club Kit – “Honey Bee Jar.” The set includes dies to create a jar that can be filled with honey, a bee, and an assortment of floral elements, as well as a jar topper, bow and string, and sentiment tab.

- To begin, dry-emboss A2-size kraft cardstock panel with the Tiny Dots folder. Attach to card base with raised side down.
- With a die in the Large Die of the Month Club Kit set, cut the jar from vellum and also from Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere together in the center. Add to the card background. With a different die, cut the liquid and clear portion of the jar. Adhere pieces together on the back with tape and add to the jar.
- Cut flowers and bee; assemble and add to the jar, using foam adhesive as necessary.
- Attach jar topper, cut from canvas cardstock, along with bow and string, and sentiment tab.

Elizabeth Craft Designs | Bucket of Flowers

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card created with products from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Paper Flowers collection. The A2-sized “Hello” card showcases the die sets Flower Pot/Bucket, Florals 13, Leaves & Branches, and Floral Minis. I previously shared a floral card created with products in the Paper Flowers collection HERE.

- To begin, dry-emboss an A2-size Chamomile cardstock panel with the Honey Bee Burlap folder. Attach to a card base.
- Cut Soft Finish cardstock with dies in the Flower Pot/Bucket, Florals 13, Leaves & Branches, and Floral Minis sets. Color pieces with Distress Inks. Assemble. Shape flowers with ball stylus tools. Add yellow prills to the flower centers of the small flowers.
- Adhere assembled bucket to the card with foam adhesive. Add floral elements to the bucket with glue.
- Stamp sentiment (Stampin’ Up Timeless Tropical stamp set) in black on white cardstock. Cut with small tag die (MFT Stamps). Add sentiment to the card.

Penny Black | Blooming into a New Season

Hello! As the festivities of Christmas fade away, I find myself drawn to new cardmaking themes. I decided to revisit some Penny Black products, several of which I previously used on this card.

- Through the circle stencil in the Background Basics set, I applied Tumbled Glass ink. I stamped the Blooming Sentiments sentiment in black ink at the top of the circle and trimmed the panel as needed. I added the sentiment panel to an A2-size card base.
- To begin, I cut the Boots, Burst of Blooms, Daisy Delight, and butterfly (Flight of Fancy set) from Soft Finish cardstock. I colored the boots, Burst of Blooms floral sections, and butterfly with Distress Inks. I colored the stems of the flowers and the daisy centers with Copic markers. I adhered centers cut from white cardstock with the Dots die.
- I trimmed the floral pieces and added them to the boots, taping them in place on the back of the boots.
- I added the butterfly and filled boots to the card front with foam adhesive.

Warm Wishes and Bear Hugs

Hello! This winter-themed friendship card, adorned with a charming bear created with the Impression Obsession Cocoa Bear set, exudes a playful charm that is sure to bring a smile to the recipient.

- - Cut Cocoa Bear from a variety of cardstock colors and textures. Assemble.
  - Stamp the Bear Sayings sentiment on to a die-cut Polaroid frame. (I used one from Paper Smooches.)
  - Back the frame with patterned paper. (I used Cabin Fever from Carta Bella for the scarf, the back of the frame, and the card base.)
  - Add frame to a patterned paper card base (A2-size). Add bear to the front of the frame.
