Spellbinders | Anemone Blooms Collection

Hello! Today, I am sharing a friendship card created with products in the Spellbinders Anemone Blooms Collection designed by Yana Smakula.

Dry Emboss A2-size Chamomile cardstock with the Intertwined Lattice folder. This was a club kit offering for August 2022 and is now available for individual sale. Attach dry-embossed panel to card base.
Cut Anemones from Purple Mist cardstock. Tape bloom pieces from the back. (I found that if I only made one pass with the cutting machine and carefully removed the die-cut, I was able to keep the bloom pieces in the frame.) Repeat process for second cluster.
Cut center pieces (twice) from Onyx cardstock with the Anemones die. Insert centers into floral clusters.
Cut outline of Anemones from Snowdrift cardstock (twice).
Glue Snowdrift outline to the clusters. Trim away foliage as necessary with precision scissors.
Trim clusters on sides and adhere to the upper-left and bottom-right on the card base.
Cut Wonderful Script Sentiments pieces from Onyx and Vellum; adhere script sentiments to shadows.
Glue sentiment to card center over floral clusters. Embellish with Spectrum Gems.

Spellbinders | January 2023 Large Die of the Month

Hello! Today, I am sharing a friendship card created with the Spellbinders January 2023 Large Die of the Month “Club Blooms” that includes 23 cutting dies.

Dry-emboss 5 inch by 7 inch dark red cardstock with Fan Motif embossing folder. This was a club kit offering for November 2022 and is now available for individual sale. Add dry-embossed background to card base.
Add sentiment included in the Quick & Easy Card Kit.
Cut Snowdrift, Brushed Gold, and Onyx cardstock with dies in the Large Die of the Month set; assemble.
Attach floral items to card background using foam adhesive on some elements for additional depth.
Embellish with Crystal Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | January 2023 Happy Plant Die Set

Hello! Today I am sharing a card showcasing the Spellbinders Happy Plant die set, which coordinates with the January 2023 Quick & Easy Card Kit. I shared projects created with the Quick & Easy Card Kit here.

Trim patterned paper in the Quick & Easy Card Kit and attach to A2-size card base.
Cut Happy Plant pot, stand, face, and foliage; assemble. Note: the face die is separate; the pot can be cut without a face.
Add Quick & Easy Card Kit sentiment to background.
Add assembled Happy Plant and embellish with Quick & Easy Card Kit gems.

Spellbinders | Parcel and Post Valentine

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Valentine created with products in the the Parcel and Post Collection at Spellbinders. I previously shared a Christmas card created with the collection here.

Cover A2-size card base with patterned paper. (I have had this paper in my stash for many years!)
Stamp and heat-emboss the Parcel & Post Sentiments sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with die in the Parcel & Post Mailbox set.
Cut mailbox, handle, side panel, letter door, and envelope with Parcel & Post Mailbox dies. Assemble mailbox and add sentiment panel; adhere to card base.
With the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations set, cut hearts, stakes, and letters with dies in the set from Brushed Gold, Snowdrift, and red glitter foam. Assemble.
Add assembled hearts, letters, and envelope to mailbox.

Spellbinders | Flower Mini Quilt

Hello! Today I am sharing a quilt-themed, mini slimline card showcasing the Flower Mini Quilt die set from Spellbinders in the Home Sweet Quilt Collection by Becca Feeken. I previously shared three cards on the Spellbinders blog created with products from the same collection including the Flower Mini Quilt set. Scroll down for information about the Christmas Clearance Sale that runs until 12/26/2022 Midnight MST.

Cut frame from Snowdrift cardstock with Flower Mini Quilt dies (solid/outline shape and corresponding stitched insert). Reserve Snowdrift pieces as shown in design. Back frame with Snowdrift panels cut using the outline shape die. The frame measures 3 inches square. Repeat process for second quilt square.
Cut light blue, blue, light teal, and teal cardstock with the Flower Mini Quilt stitched insert die. Inlay and adhere pieces into the frames switching the light blue for the light teal and the blue for the teal on the second quilt square.
Tape quilt squares together on the back.
Stamp Let’s Celebrate sentiment in black on Snowdrift cardstock and cut with die in the Assorted Tags set. Attach to silver cord and tie around the quilt squares.
Add assembly to a white textured card base measuring 3 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall.
