Elizabeth Craft Designs – On the Farm

Howdy and Hee Haw! Today I am sharing a farm-themed card created with Elizabeth Craft Designs die sets. You can see more about the ECD Life is Better on the Farm Collection here. Els has an infectious enthusiasm!

Elizabeth Craft Designs - On the Farm

  • I die-cut the rooster, the hen, and the hay from watercolored cardstock. I assembled the pieces.
  • I die-cut the grass from cardstock to which I applied Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.
  • I die-cut the fence from white cardstock.
  • I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the background and stamped the Technique Tuesday sentiment.
  • I added the layers to the card, popping the rooster and hen up with foam adhesive.

Elizabeth Craft Designs – Birthday Monkey in a Jeep

Hello! Today, I am sharing a birthday card created with products from Elizabeth Craft Designs for someone enthusiastic about jeeps and/or animals. Whenever I create a card with a jeep (or tractor or car, …), it is with either my eldest son or my husband in mind. I have shared cards with some of these same products here and here.

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Birthday Monkey in a Jeep

  • I cut the Monkey from cardstock colored with inks (Vintage Photo and Memento Desert Sand).
  • I cut the Jeep from red, dark red (behind the grill), black, and yellow cardstock, as well as silver foil.
  • I used the Party Accessories set to cut the hat and the balloons.
  • I stamped a Stampin’ Up sentiment on to the light blue background (5 1/2″ x  6 1/2″).

Elizabeth Craft Snowman Valentine

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS, winter-themed, Valentine created with  Elizabeth Craft Designs die sets.

Elizabeth Craft Snowman Valentine

  • I cut the Peek-A-Boo frame and inlaid the letters.
  • I cut and assembled the Jack Frost snowman, accessorizing him with a hat cut with dies in the Winter Accessories set.
  • I tucked the snowman into the frame and backed it with light blue cardstock.
  • I added the assembly to a patterned paper card base.
  • I embellished the scene with snowflakes cut with the Penguin die set.

Elizabeth Craft Design Winter Cat

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS winter-themed card featuring the Elizabeth Craft Design cat die set.

Elizabeth Craft Design Winter Cat

  • I colored Bristol with various Distress Inks and cut the colored paper with the Cat and Winter Accessories sets.
  • I drew the mouth on the cat with an American Crafts .01 point pen (noting this mostly for myself) and assembled the pieces with glue.
  • I added the assembled cat to a patterned paper background, (I liked the contrast the yellow provided and the pattern reminded me of a sweater), on which I had stamped the sentiment from Penny Black Bright and Light set.
  • To reinforce the winter theme, I added snowflakes cut with the ECD Penguin die set.

Hello! I’m continuing with my winter-themed cards and sharing another one featuring an  Elizabeth Craft Designs snowman.

Elizabeth Craft Designs Snowman

  • To create the snowman, I cut and glued the Elizabeth Craft Designs Jack Frost pieces, using a hat from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Winter Accessories set. (I die-cut the mouth with a Paper Smooches snowman die set piece.)
  • I cut the hat from ThemoWeb Flock in white and tan.
  • I cut the hill after stamping the Rubbernecker Snowmen with Presents sentiment.
  • I adhered the hill and snowman to the patterned paper background, adding snowflakes cut with a die in the Elizabeth Craft Designs Penguin set.
