Hello! I couldn’t resist a little die-cut mischief. I combined a Santa and Mrs. Claus set with a bed die (not originally meant for Christmas!) to create a cozy, playful scene of the festive couple tucked in together. Mrs. Claus even kept her glasses on. She is probably still making sure everything is just right, because we all know she’s the one who really runs the show. With a simple “Merry Christmas” sentiment, the card is whimsical and perfect for cardmakers who love mixing dies in unexpected ways.

- To begin, cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Cut the Spellbinders Clauses from a variety of cardstock colors and assemble.
- Use the Hero Arts Studio Cozy Critters set to cut the bed frame, quilt, and pillows.
- Place the pieces on to the prepared base.
- Cut the sentiment with dies in the North Pole Sentiments set and add to the top of the quilt.

Hero Arts | Get Well Soon Card

Hello and happy December! I didn’t expect this card to be quite so fun to make but the Hero Arts Alphabet Soup die set, this month’s Hero Studio Die Set of the Month turned out to be one of those kits that invites you to play. As I built the little bowl of tomato soup, adding the spoon, crackers, and floating letters, I found myself enjoying the scene-building far more than I anticipated. And the black-and-white check patterned paper gave the whole card a warm, kitchen-table charm. And honestly, “Get Well Soon” cards are ones we reach for more often than we think. The card feels nurturing rather than saying, “oh woe, you’re sick.”

- Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Cut the Alphabet Soup pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and textures. Assemble as necessary and add to the card front.

Hero Arts | Twinkle Lights Christmas Tree

Hello! Today’s card captures the holiday magic of a Christmas tree, sparkling with lights, in die-cut form. I featured the Twinkle Lights die set from Hero Arts, the October Hero Studio Die Set of the Month, as the star of the design and paired it with additional supplies from Hero Arts and Spellbinders to complete the scene.

- Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Dry-emboss Classic White cardstock that has been cut with an arch with the Sparkling Snow folder. With the Festive Tree Die set, cut a tree shape from the center of the arch.
- With the Twinkle Lights set, cut light strands and bulbs from cardstock. Trim as necessary to fit within the tree shape. Assemble.
- Add a Fern cardstock panel behind the ornaments. Add the assembly to a Poppy cardstock arch and adhere to card base.
- Cut sentiment with dies in the North Pole Sentiments set. Add to the card.

Hello! There’s nothing better than snuggling under the covers when the days turn crisp, and this handmade card captures that cozy feeling perfectly. I used the Hero Arts September 2025 Die Set of the Month Cozy Critters to create a whimsical design that feels straight out of a fairy tale.

- Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Cut bed, pillow, quilt, and fox from a variety of cardstock colors using dies in the Hero Arts Studio Cozy Critters set. Assemble.
- Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock and cut with a banner die.
- Assemble card elements and add to the card base.
