Spellbinders | Window Wonderland

Hello! The Spellbinders October Large Die of the Month, Window Wonderland, is all about capturing nostalgic charm. The card reminds me of something out of “A Christmas Story” (which was set in 1940).

Spellbinders | Window Wonderland

    • Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
    • Cut the bay window structure twice with the Window Wonderland set. Using the window die outlines, cut out the windows from the front panel. This enables the drapes and tree to go inside the windows.
    • Cut drapes and tree with the set and attach to the inside panel. Cut the detailed window frames and inlay to the frame created in the previous step. Adhere the two layers. Add additional details (trim, string of lights, snow on top of the window) using dies in the Window Wonderland set.
    • Using the Window Wonderland set, cut the child, sled, and gifts from cardstock and assemble. Use the same set to create the snowbank.
    • Use the sentiment die in the North Pole Sentiments set to cut “Merry Christmas” from the snowbank. Back with Pomegranate cardstock and add to the base of the card, providing enough room at the top to slide in the window assembly. Attach the child and sled with foam squares.

Spellbinders | Whimsical Fall-themed Card

Hello! Fall is the perfect season for cozy, storybook-inspired designs, and the September Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders captures that magic beautifully. I created a card featuring a squirrel holding an acorn outside his tiny acorn-shaped house. Surrounded by colorful fall foliage, the scene feels straight out of a woodland fairy tale. The sweet sentiment, “May your fall be full of quiet wonder,” ties it all together for a card that celebrates the gentle joys of autumn.

Spellbinders | Swimming in Happiness

Hello! There’s something magical about bringing home new fish from the pet store. I captured that moment with Spellbinders die sets, creating two colorful fish swimming in a clear plastic bag. The design came together quickly with just a few die sets and delivers a big visual impact. With the sentiment “You Brighten My Day,” this card is perfect for sending cheer to someone special. The mix of colors and die-cut details brings this fun, aquarium-inspired card to life.

Spellbinders | Make a Splash

Hello! I’m back with another underwater-themed card, this time featuring the Splash Tales die set, the August 2025 Large Die of the Month at Spellbinders. This fun and generous set includes everything you need to build a lively ocean scene. I used repetition to create five colorful fish in a variety of hues—almost like an underwater bouquet—surrounded by flowing plant life. The die-cut sentiment “Make a Splash” is perfect for a cheerful hello or celebration.

Spellbinders | Make a Splash

    • Create an A2-size card base from white cardstock.
    • Cut Seaside cardstock with the largest die in the Essential Arches set and adhere to base.
    • Cut scene elements from a variety of cardstock colors using dies in the Large Die and Small Die sets. (You can see my Small Die set card HERE.) Assemble. Die-cut the sentiment from white cardstock and white foam. Assemble with glitter foam side down. This method ensures that the sentiment is well-supported, although the step is not required.
    • Add elements to prepared card base with glue and foam squares.

Spellbinders | Gingerbread Mug Card

Hello! Today I am sharing a holiday card created with this month’s bonus die for the Spellbinders subscribers who sign up for all the kit clubs. This gingerbread Christmas mug echoes the reindeer mug card, which I shared earlier.
