Lawn Fawn Foxes

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS “just because” card created with a combination of Lawn Fawn products.

Lawn Fawn Fox Family

I stamped the fox images from Mom + Me, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them with their corresponding dies.

I recently bought a rainbow pack of Lawn Fawn cardstock, along with several packages of neutrals. I cut the card base from Paper Bag cardstock using the Woodgrain Backdrop. I cut the background for the scene from Mermaid cardstock using the Cloud Backdrop. (I absolutely love these backdrop dies!) I then used a square die to cut the cloud piece to the size I needed. I cut the grass from Noble Fir cardstock with one of the Meadow Borders dies and the same square die. I framed the scene with white cardstock cut with a die in the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Square Stackables set. I heat-embossed the sentiment on Black Licorice cardstock and cut it with a die in the Extra Sentiment Banners set.

Hello and Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m sharing a CAS Valentine’s card created with Lawn Fawn supplies.

I stamped and colored the birds and envelope from Love Letters, and cut the items with their corresponding dies. I stamped the sentiment on to the white cardstock base and added panels cut from Lawn Fawn cardstock with the Woodgrain Backdrop die. I added hearts cut with the Taylored Expressions Little Bits – Hearts die.

Happy Birthday – Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Animals

Hello! Today, I am sharing a birthday card created with four of the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Animals – Cat, Bear, Panda, and Dog.

After die-cutting and assembling the animals, I inked a panel with several Distress Oxide inks and cut it with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Cloud Backdrop for the background. I inked another panel and cut it with one of the Arched Stitching Borders. The arched border covers the bottoms of the animals. I stamped the border with a sentiment in the Lawn Fawn Grand Greetings set (now retired).

I can’t wait to create another card with one (or more) of the Picture Book Animals!

Lawn Fawn – Winter Bunny

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS winter-themed card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Winter Bunny stamp. This is a stamp I have had for several years and never stamped or colored.

I stamped the image and colored him (her?) with Copic markers and colored pencils. I created a scene with a snow hill cut with one of the dies in this set. I used an older Lawn Fawn paper for the snow-filled sky and a sentiment in the Critters in the Arctic set.

To give the small image more presence on the card, I cut a frame from Knit Picky patterned paper with a die in the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Square set. I recently noticed that I am using a lot of red frames on these winter-themed cards! I used the Stitched Woodgrain die for the card base to add subtle texture.

I am entering the current Lawn Fanatics challenge. I was inspired by the red, the hearts (there are small hearts in the Knit Picky paper), and the winter scene.

Lawn Fawn – Wild About You

Hello! Today, I am sharing another card featuring the Echo Park Balloons Stencil,  provided to me by Paper-Garden.ca. I recently shared a CAS birthday card with this stencil and wanted to try the stencil with colored embossing paste.

I first stamped and colored a few of the Wild For You animals (this is an adorable set) and cut them with their corresponding dies.

I cut a cardstock panel with the largest rectangle die in this set and applied colored embossing paste through some of the stencil on to the cardstock. I colored the embossing paste with Claudine Hellmuth paints, which I bought several years ago. Once the panel was dry, I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink; the embossed balloons resist the ink.

I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment on a piece of Lawn Fawn Noble Fir cardstock, which I then cut with one of the Meadow Borders dies.
