Penny Black Harvest Breeze

Hello! Today I am sharing a Copic-colored, fall-themed card created with Penny Black supplies from the new Autumn Extraordinaire release.

I stamped and Copic-colored the hedgehog and foliage images using the 30-722 Harvest Breeze set.
I cut the images with the 51-682 Harvest Breeze Cut Out dies.
I cut the stamped sentiment using a die in the 51-007 Tagged set.
I colored Bristol board with a combination of Distress Inks which I cut with a circle die three times.
I added the circles to the card base and added the images with dot adhesive and foam adhesive.

Copic colors – Fur: E53, E55, E57, E59; Body: E30, R20; Acorn: E37, E99

What I like about this card: I especially like the hedgehog images; I’m thrilled that Penny Black is making more coordinating die sets for their images. I’m also drawn to the colors of fall, and it was fun incorporating the colors into the coloring and the ink choices for the circles.

Penny Black Hello Pumpkin

Hello and happy fall! Today I am sharing a colorful, fall-themed card created with Penny Black supplies from the new Autumn Extraordinaire release.

I applied Distress Oxide Inks – Crackling Campfire, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet – to Bristol board.
After the Bristol board dried, I white heat-embossed the pumpkin images from the 30-727 Hello Pumpkin set on to the inked board. I cut the images with the coordinating 51-683 Hello Pumpkin Cut Out die.
I cut the stems from inked board with dies in the 51-683 Hello Pumpkin Cut Out set, opting not to heat-emboss the stem images.
I stamped the sentiment with Gathered Twig ink on a panel to which I applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink at the bottom.

What I like about this card: I like the autumnal colors and the impact (with minimal effort) that the heat-embossing provides. I also like that the card was created with just one stamp set and its coordinating dies.

Penny Black Halloween Gate

Hello! Today I am sharing a Halloween card created with Penny Black die sets, including several from the new Autumn Extraordinaire release.

I die-cut the 51-656 Halloween Gate from black cardstock (it’s a coated cardstock I got from Stampin’ Up several years ago).
I die-cut the 51-463 Winter Trees tree from black cardstock. I die-cut the bird (in the same set) from orange cardstock.
I die-cut the 51-654 Carved Cuties from orange and black cardstock (stems) and backed the openings with black cardstock.
I die-cut the smaller pumpkins with the 51-360 Pumpkins & Leaves set.
I die-cut the yellow moon with a circle die.
I created the card background with patterned paper and adhered the die-cut elements.

Penny Black Fall Scene

Hello! Today I am sharing a Halloween- or fall-themed, card created with Penny Black die sets.

I cut the crow with the 51-596 Bird and Branch set. This set was released in the spring and I used it to create several spring- and Easter-themed cards.
I die-cut the sentiment with the 51-077 Eeek! set three times and glued the pieces together for extra dimension.
The pumpkins and leaves were cut with the 51-360 Pumpkins & Leaves set.

Penny Black – Birthday Hedgie

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS, birthday card created with Penny Black supplies. I used this same hedgehog image on a card here.

I stamped the hedgehog using a stamp in the 30-711 Critter Delights set and colored the image with Copic markers and colored pencils. I restamped the image after coloring it. (I left the stamp on my stamp platform while I colored the image.)
I fussy-cut the hedgehog.
I stamped the 30-700 Carefree Wishes sentiment on to blue cardstock.
I cut the balloon strings using the 51-609 Balloons set and the balloons with dies in the 51-004 Uplifting set.
I trimmed the sentiment panel and added it to a mat cut with the 51-636 Dainty Dashes Stackers set from white cardstock.
I added the assembly to a patterned paper card base.
I added the balloons and the hedgehog (with foam adhesive) to the card.
