Lawn Fawn | Build-A-Snowman Snow Flurries

Hello! Today I am sharing a holiday-themed card featuring the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Snowman die set. I previously shared a card showcasing this die set here.

Cut Snow Flurries Backdrop from white cardstock.
Cut A2-size panel of Mermaid cardstock, attach to card base.
Cut snowbank from flocked cardstock with one of the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders dies. Trim and add to card base.
Cut snowmen (or snowwomen?) from glitter cardstock. Cut accessories from various colored cardstocks. Cut arms from Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock. Assemble.
Stamp Simply Winter Sentiments on Lipstick Red cardstock and cut with Everyday Sentiment Banner die.
Add Snowflake Flurries Backdrop to card base without securing the inner edges. Add snowmen to scene, placing their mittened hands outside the border. Embellish with Mini Snowflakes.

Lawn Fawn | Deck the Car Take 2

Hello! Today I am sharing two versions of a holiday card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Deck the Car die set. I previously shared a card created with the Deck the Car set here.

For both cards, I stamped the Simply Winter Sentiments sentiment on white cardstock and cut the top with a die in the Simply Stitched Hillside Borders set to create a snowbank.
I cut the cars and trees with the Deck the Car die set from white cardstock and cardstock inked with Lumberjack Plaid, Rustic Wilderness, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn, and Black Soot.
On one of the backgrounds, I inked white cardstock with Peacock Feathers and applied Distress Grit Paste – Snowfall paste through the trees stencil of the Birch Tree set (there is one stencil for the trees and another for the space between the trees). On the other background, I inked white cardstock with Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner (at the top) using the space between the trees stencil of the Birch Tree set. I then stenciled the trees with Distress Grit Paste – Snowfall paste through the tree stencil of the set.
Once the stenciled panels were dry, I added them to card bases. I added the snowbanks to the bottom and popped the assembled cars up with foam adhesive.
I added snowflakes, which I cut from cardstock to which I applied the Distress Grit Paste – Snowfall paste and let dry, with the Mini Snowflakes dies. I am not sure I would make glitter cardstock in this manner again as it is quite difficult to die cut.

Sizzix | Snow Family

Hello! Today, I am sharing a winter-themed card showcasing the Sizzix Snow Family die set (suitable for a number of occasions beyond the winter holidays). I am noticing that the snowman has been a popular theme this year across manufacturers.

To create the background, I inked a Sea Glass cardstock panel with white pigment ink through the Lawn Fawn Snowflake Background stencil set (there are two stencils in the set, I used both, one at a time).
I stamped the MFT sentiment (now retired) in Gray Flannel ink on white cardstock and trimmed the top of the panel with the Color Block Scenic Scape die to make a snowbank.
I attached the snowbank to the background panel and added the assembly to a card base.
I cut the snow people, bird, and snowballs with the Snow Family die set from variety of cardstock colors and finishes and assembled them.
I added the snow people, bird, and snowballs to the card and accessorized with snowflakes cut from glitter cardstock with the Mini Snowflakes die set.

Spellbinders | All Hearts Come Home Take Two

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas card created with the All Hearts Come Home die set from the Spellbinders Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken. Everything you need to make a holiday greeting is included in the All Hearts Come Home die set – frame, focal image, and sentiment (which I did not use on this card). I shared another card with this die set here.

I dry-embossed a Teal Topaz cardstock panel with the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder. I added the dry embossed panel to a card base and notched the bottom corners.
I cut the All Hearts Come Home die set frame from Snowdrift cardstock. I inlaid the tree and packages with Snowdrift, glitter, Mirror Silver, Lilac Blossom, and Lagoon cardstock.
I cut the house from Royal Amethyst cardstock and backed it with Snowdrift cardstock.
I cut a snowbank with a die in the Color Block Scenic Scape set and taped it to the back of the frame section. I added the assembly to the card background and added the house with foam adhesive. For this card, I left off the sentiment.

Lawn Fawn | Cheery Deer

Hello! Today, I am sharing a holiday card showcasing the cute Lawn Fawn Cheery Deer die set. I appreciate that these dies include a solid back piece; it makes the inlay technique so much easier.

To create the background, I cut the line of snowy trees with the Forest Border from SU Snowy White Velvet, trimmed it, and added it to a panel of light teal cardstock. I added the assembly to a card base.
As a frame, I cut the Forest Backdrop from white cardstock and glitter cardstock (the trees). Once assembled, I added it to the card base front.
I cut the deer with the Cheery Deer from Black Licorice, tan, Paper Bag, and Chocolate Bar cardstock, inlaying the pieces. (It occurred to me, as I was writing this post, that a small red pompom would be cute on his nose.) I cut the string of lights from Black Licorice, Lipstick Red, SU Daffodil Delight, and an MFT green that is no longer manufactured. I added the assembly to the center of the card with foam adhesive.
I stamped the Simply Winter Sentiments sentiment on Lipstick Red and cut it with one of the Everyday Sentiment Banners. To embellish, I cut snowflakes from glitter cardstock with the Mini Snowflakes dies.
