Lawn Fawn Holiday JOY

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS holiday card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrows stamp set. It has been drizzling here all day and it is dark outside – a little color was in order!

I have had this stamp for a couple of years and never used it (looks like it was released in 2013!). I colored the birds with Copic markers and cut the images with their corresponding dies. The branches are stamped with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo ink.

I used the Stitched Woodgrain backdrop for the card base and for the circle in the center. The bokeh/snow patterned paper is from an older Lawn Fawn pad. I die-cut the sentiment with Cole’s ABCs from Taylored Expressions Watermelon cardstock. (I tried a more traditional red cardstock but it just didn’t work with the brightly-colored birds.)

From the North Pole – Taylored Expressions Tags

Hello! Today, I am sharing two bold Christmas tags featuring the Taylored Expressions From the North Pole stamp set and Flap Stacks – Half Circle.

I stamped the front of tag with one of the From the North Pole sentiments. I created the tag with the Tag Stacklets 3 cut with a Flap Stacks – Half Circle. I decorated the tag front with die-cuts using the Sitting Pretty Holiday Accessories set, Little Bits – Snowflake Confetti, and Little Bits – Mittens.

Inside, the tag is stamped with another of the set’s sentiments!

I created a similar tag using a smaller Tag Stacklets 3 shape and the other Flap Stacks – Half Circle along with two other From the North Pole sentiments.

Die-Cut Reindeer Parade

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card showcasing the Memory Box Reindeer Parade die.

I played around with this design for awhile, and in the end, I partially embossed the Tim Holtz trees stencil (included in the Mini Stencils Set 32). Other ideas included stenciling a die-cut circle or rectangle, but I wanted the trees to be more organic. To simplify the construction of the card, I separately heat-embossed the Christmas Messages sentiment on a die-cut rectangle.

Lawn Fawn Die-Cut Holiday Mailbox

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS holiday card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Happy Mail mailbox decorated with the Mini Wreath.

Back in July, I created a warm-weather version with the mailbox and couldn’t resist dressing it for the holidays! I was delighted to find that the Mini Wreath fit.

I used Memory Box paper for the envelope/bow, the solid blue background, and the mailbox, along with patterned paper from an older Lawn Fawn pad for the card base and the wreath. I stamped the die-cut envelope with an image in the Love Letters set.

TE Ghost Town Border – Christmas Edition

Hello! Today, I am showing how to use the Taylored Expressions Ghost Town Border on a Christmas card!

The spookiest building in the border is on the right-hand side – you can see it on this Halloween card. To eliminate that building from my card, I created a vertical card and simply cut it out of the picture!

I cut the Ghost Town Border out of Sugar Cube cardstock and backed the windows with Cherry Pop and Lemon Meringue cardstock. I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Ornamental set on Blue Corn cardstock. I used the Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? die to create the scene in the foreground of the girls making a snowman. I also added a hill cut with a die in the Build a Scene – Rolling Hills set and snowflakes cut with the Little Bits – Snowflake Confetti set to reinforce the winter/Christmas theme.
