Cardmaking and Scrapbooking with Jean Manis
Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card featuring Lawn Fawn supplies, both new and old.
I cut the Lawn Fawn Mini Wreath twice from Stampin’ Up cardstock. I heat-embossed the rectangular panel (cut from the same green cardstock) with a favorite sentiment from the Deck the Halls set. The window was cut with the Lawn Fawn Wonderful Window set. The card base is dry-embossed with a TE Brick embossing folder.
Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS Halloween card created with Taylored Expressions products.
To begin, I colored Sugar Cube cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks in Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade and stamped the Simply Said – Halloween sentiment with Archival ink over the inks. I cut a circle from a Plum Punch cardstock rectangle, which I dry-embossed with the Weathered embossing folder to add some texture. Around the sentiment, I added die-cuts cut with the sets: Sitting Pretty Halloween Accessories, Haunted Accessories, and Little Bits – Ornate Frame.

Hello! While I was playing along with the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge Summer Link-up, I created a number of Christmas cards, so many that I didn’t get them all posted! This CAS card combines the Tim Holtz Holiday Knit stencil, the Sizzix Tim Holtz Woodlands die set, and a Hero Arts sentiment from Winter Wishes.
I cut the tree from Stampin’ Up Tranquil Tide cardstock twice (this is a new color and it is one that I really like!). For one of the die-cut trees, I knocked out the pieces I didn’t want, and the other time I left them in place (taping them securely on the back). I adhered the trees together. I applied the Embossing Paste through the stencil on to Stampin’ Up Crumb Cake cardstock. While the background dried, I stamped the sentiment with Stampin’ Up Soft Suede ink. I cut the sentiment strip with one of the dies in the My Favorite Things STAX Fishtail Flags set. I cut a strip of patterned paper (old Studio Calico paper pack) with a larger die in the same set.
Hello! Fall is definitely in the air here in the Pacific Northwest. The leaves are falling, and the sun is that much lower in the horizon. With the upcoming holidays in mind, I created a card with some of the new release items from Lawn Fawn. My card features their Forest Feast set.
I stamped and Copic-colored the animals and their accessories. I used a combination of inks on the background panel, which I embossed with the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die. Initially, I planned to use cardstock for the grass, but ended up adding Distress ink. I stamped the sentiment using my MISTI to position the stamp.

Before you head off to shop, I’ve got two more birthday-themed projects to share! My first card showcases the Happy Script die.
I cut the sentiment and applied the Picked Raspberry ink to the die-cut with one of the Clarity Stencil Brushes. I heat-embossed the Peek-a-Boo Birthday sentiment on the Build a Cake piece (masking the Happy from the sentiment). I placed the assembled cake in front of an area to which I added Distress Oxide Broken China ink. For texture and color, I added Nuvo White Crystal Drops to the candles and TE Sequins – Hello Happiness to the card base.

My final birthday project uses the Blooms Overlay pieces in floral arrangements for a CAS card featuring the heat-embossed Simply Said – Birthday sentiment.
I backed the cut blooms with Sugar Cube circles. The greenery was cut with a die in the Bloomers Greenery set from the new Key Lime cardstock.
