Rubbernecker | April 2022 Release Day Two

Hello! I am back sharing two more cards that feature the Rubbernecker April release. See my previous post here.

My first card showcases the Model A Truck on a masculine card.

I paired the Model A Truck with the Barn and a fun sentiment in the Dad Phrases set.

The scene background was created with the Peak Fence #4 and Slimline Grass.

My second card features one of the new cover plates – the Circle Stitch Cover die – on a CAS birthday card.

I paired the Circle Stitch Cover die with a heat-embossed sentiment in the Birthday Vase set.

After inlaying the colored panels in the white cardstock frame, I embellished the card with hearts cut with a die in the Shed Bird House set.

Rubbernecker | April 2022 Release

Hello! I am delighted to share two CAS cards created with new dies in the April Rubbernecker release, which includes cover plates, garden dies, and stamp sets.

The Shed Bird House Add-On die works with the Shed die to create a large birdhouse.

I paired the birdhouse with birds created with the Spring Birds die.

On both cards, I used a sentiment from the Kittie Says Springtime set.

The Shed Bird House Add-On die set includes several options for the birdhouse opening and a smaller heart die. I sprinkled several hearts on the patterned-paper background to reinforce the theme.

Spellbinders | Die Cutting Glitter Foam

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS, mini slimline card created with just-released Spellbinders products: Glitter Foam Sheets and Color Block Mini Triangles. The glitter foam is a game changer; it is a lot less messy than traditional glitter.

Cut the Shimmering Tropics (bright green) and Peacock Feathers (blue and purple) foam with the Color Block Mini Triangles die set.
Cut Color Block Mini Triangles bases from Onyx cardstock.
Glue bases to assembled foam sets.
Glue triangles to card base; trim to mini slimline size.
Foil Be Bold sentiment in Silver on Snowdrift cardstock and cut with coordinating die. Add to card.

Spellbinders | April 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS, mini-slimline card created with the Spellbinders April 2022 Embossing Folder Kit Club “Radiant Burst.”

Stencil ink through Sun Burst stencil on to Snowdrift cardstock. Rotate stencil and add a different ink. Repeat until panel is filled the desired amount. Cut panel with largest die in the Mini Slimline A set.
Dry-emboss panel with the Embossing Folder Kit Club folder.
Mat panel with Onyx cardstock and add to card base.
Stamp Circle of Sunshine sentiment on to Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with circle die.
Cut rainbow from colored cardstock with a die in the Colorblock Circles & Stripes set. Assemble and add to card.

The embossing folder, measuring 5.5 x 8.5 inches, can be used to make cards in a variety of sizes including slimline, mini-slimline, 5 x 7, and A2.

Penny Black – CAS XOXO Valentine

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Valentine’s Day card created with Penny Black supplies from previous love-themed releases, as I eagerly await products from their newest release.

I gold heat-embossed the 30-667 Love Language sentiment on red cardstock. The sentiment is a multi-line one, which I masked.
I die-cut 51-486 Stitched XOXO from white cardstock through which I added an arrow, cut from gold cardstock with the 51-594 Doodles of Love die set.
I added the assembly to a white textured card base.
