Spellbinders | CAS Anemone Blooms

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS friendship card to showcase products in the Spellbinders Anemone Blooms Collection designed by Yana Smakula. I previously shared a card using products from the collection here.

Cut Anemones from Phone Booth cardstock. Tape bloom pieces from the back. (I found that if I only made one pass with the cutting machine and carefully removed the die-cut, I was able to keep the bloom pieces in the frame.)
Cut center pieces from Onyx cardstock with the Anemones die. Insert centers into floral clusters.
Cut outline of Anemones from Snowdrift cardstock and adhere to floral piece.
Glimmer foil sentiment with plate in the Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments set in Opaque Black on a Sea Glass cardstock panel. The messages in the set work on both the front and inside of cards. Trim panel to 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches.
Add assembled anemones to panel and embellish with Silver Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | Color Block Valentine

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS, color block Valentine created with Spellbinders supplies including a sentiment from the Anemone Blooms Collection designed by Yana Smakula.

Repetition is one of my favorite design principles: I cut sixteen one-inch squares and sixteen hearts from five colors to make a four-inch square.

Cut colored cardstock with Nestabilities Essential Squares die. Tape squares together on the back.
Cut hearts using the heart die in the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations set. (There are three hearts on one die; I used the middle one.) Add hearts to squares with foam adhesive.
Glimmer foil sentiment with Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments plate in Opaque Black on a Snowdrift panel.
Trim panel, add to A2-size card base, add heart assembly.

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day 8

Hello! Today, I am sharing card created with the surprise for Day Eight – a pieced heart die set – in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders. Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration.

Use Fluted Classics Squares dies to create card base from Snowdrift cardstock. Card measures almost 4 1/2 inches wide.
Use the December 2022 Embossing Folder to dry-emboss Pomegranate cardstock; cut with die in the Fluted Classics Squares set.
Use the Day Eight Advent Calendar die set to cut heart pieces from Brushed Gold and glitter cardstock. Tape pieces on back and add to heart cut from Vellum.
Glimmer foil in Gold the More Sentiments sentiment and cut with coordinating banner die.
Add heart assembly to card background and embellish with Gold Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day 7

Hello! Today I am sharing card created with the surprise for Day Seven in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders. Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration.

Day Seven was a three-piece stencil set with which I made a Christmas card. I used the same design as the one for Day Three.

I applied Slippery When Wet, Later Gator, and Bee Sting Lunar Paste through the stencils to Snowdrift cardstock, allowing dry time between the three applications.
Once the panel was dry, I cut with the tree die in the Blooming Tree set.
I glimmer-foiled in Gold the Mini Christmas Sentiments sentiment on a dark-red cardstock panel.
I cut the foiled panel with the largest Essential Arches die.
I adhered the arch panel to a Snowdrift cardstock A2-size base.
I embellished the tree with a star cut from Brushed Gold with a die in the Holiday Decorations set and the panel with Gold Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day Three

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with the Day Three surprise in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders– a wavy die (another die, which I did not use, was also included). Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration.

I glimmer-foiled in Gold the Glimmer Wishes sentiment on a Pomegranate panel.
I cut the panel with the largest Essential Arches die. I then cut the panel with the tree die in the Blooming Tree set.
I used the advent calendar die to cut the wavy piece from Brushed Gold for nine strips. I adhered the stripes to a Fern cardstock panel.
I trimmed the Fern panel, adhered the arch panel on top, and added the assembly to an off-white card base. I embellished the tree with a star cut from Brushed Gold with a die in the Holiday Decorations set.
