Spellbinders | August 2022 Large Die + Embossing Folder of the Month – Take Two

Hello again! I am sharing another card created with the Spellbinders August 2022 Large Die of the Month “Strawberry Patch” paired with the Embossing Folder “Intertwined Lattice.” You can see my first card here. Scroll beyond the card images for information on a Buy One, Get One FREE Sale.

Dry-emboss mini-slimline-size card panel with the Embossing Folder and attach to card base.

With the Large Die of the Month set, die-cut strawberries, leaves, and flowers from cardstock. Assemble and add to card background.

Stamp the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments sentiment on Snowdrift cardstock and cut it with a die in the Assorted Tags set, adding twine through the hole and gluing on to the lower portion of the vine.

Spellbinders | August 2022 Large Die + Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello and happy August! I am in disbelief that it is already August. Today I am sharing a card created with the Spellbinders August 2022 Large Die of the Month “Strawberry Patch” (more info here) paired with this month’s timeless and elegant Embossing Folder “Intertwined Lattice” (more info here).

Dry-emboss A2-size card panel with the Embossing Folder and attach to card base.

Die-cut strawberries, basket, leaves, and flowers from cardstock. Assemble and add to card background. I used the cardstock from which I cut the basket to trace the basket outline on a piece of same-colored cardstock. I fussy-cut the piece and arranged the strawberries on top, gluing the open basket last.

Stamp the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments sentiment on Snowdrift cardstock and cut it with a die in the Assorted Tags set, adding twine through the hole and gluing it on to the basket.

Spellbinders | Glimmer Greetings Blooming Tree

Hello crafty friends! I am sharing a Christmas card that showcases the Glimmer Greetings Collection at Spellbinders. This card combines several of my favorite techniques: die cutting, glimmer foiling, and dry embossing.

Here’s how you can make this card:

Cut arch background from Pink Sand cardstock with the largest die in the Essential Arches set. Dry emboss and attach to arch-shaped card base.
Glimmer foil the Paid Tidings Background in Moondust on Teal Topaz cardstock. Cut foiled panel with die in the Blooming Tree set. Add star cut with die in the Holiday Decorations set from gold foil.
Glimmer foil the Blooming Tree flower and foliage in Gold on Snowdrift. Color flower and cut items with coordinating dies.

Glimmer foil the Glitter Wishes sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with coordinating die. Trim to width of the arch and attach.
Assemble and embellish with Opal Gems.

Spellbinders | Celebrate the Season “Winter Welcome Sled”

Hello! I have more Christmas inspiration to share from the recent releases at Spellbinders with a card that showcases the adorable Winter Welcome Sled die set, part of the Celebrate the Season Collection.

Here’s how you can make this card:

Emboss a 4 x 5 1/4 inch Brushed Silver cardstock panel with the Stargazer folder. Add to textured, white, A2-size cardstock and attach to card base.
Cut sled from kraft and Brushed Silver cardstock; assemble. Decorate with ice skates, poinsettia, and foliage cut with dies in the Winter Welcome Sled and Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations sets; cut evergreen from Green Glitter Foam. Add sled assembly to card.
Foil Glitter Wishes sentiment in Silver on Snowdrift cardstock; cut with coordinating die and add to card.
To embellish, cut snowflakes with dies in the Holiday Decorations set from Snowdrift cardstock. Add to card.

Spellbinders | July 2022 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello! I am delighted to be participating in a blog hop celebrating the Spellbinders July 2022 Club Subscriptions. You should have reached me from the blog of Yasmin Diaz. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) For the hop, I created a die-cut card with this month’s Large Die of the Month kit “Food Truck.” I turned the truck into a flower truck driven by a flamingo! (There are many creative ways to use this truck die set.)

Here’s how you can make this card:

Dry-emboss light teal A2-size panel and add to card base. (I used a previously released Embossing Folder of the Month.)
Stamp Let’s Celebrate sentiment on Snowdrift cardstock and cut with circle die.
Cut truck from a variety of cardstock colors. I created the “Flower Power” signage on my computer printer. Assemble truck. Pop truck up on light blue cardstock, cut slightly smaller than the truck, with foam adhesive, leaving room to slip in the flamingo and flowers.
Cut flamingo (Plant It Here) and flowers and foliage (Plant It Here, Mini Blooms and Sprigs, Universal Curved Border, Lemon Zest) and assemble. Add elements to truck with dot and foam adhesive.
Add sentiment and truck to dry-embossed background.
