Spellbinders Daisy Birthday Bliss

Hello! Today, I am sharing a floral birthday card created with the Spellbinders Fresh Picked Daisies die set paired with a BetterPressed sentiment. As I have mentioned before, following Christmas cards, birthday cards are the type I send most frequently.

- Create an A2-sized card base and cover with textured pink cardstock.
- With the Fresh Picked Daisies set, cut the daisy flowers and stems from cardstock. Assemble. Fussy-cut stems. Add assembled florals to card base.
- Press the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments sentiment in black on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with a banner die (I used a die included in a glimmer sentiment set).
- Step into a world of daisy-infused birthday delight! With intricate die cuts and heartfelt sentiments, our handmade card promises to add a touch of warmth and charm to any celebration. Let’s dive into the creative journey behind this exquisite creation!
- Add the sentiment to the card with foam adhesive.
- Embellish with enamel dots.

Happy Hooray Balloons Birthday Card

Hello! Today, I’m excited to share a colorful balloon birthday card created with the Spellbinders BetterPress system. The Happy Hooray Balloons set includes mylar printed registration templates along with plates and banner dies. The registration template makes it possible to easily create a multi-color letterpress design. In addition to the mylar templates, you can also download the registration template (to be printed at home) HERE.

- With the registration template in place, press the balloons, letters, and strings with Tuscan, Strawberry, Hydrangea, and Black ink on an A-2 panel using the Happy Hooray Balloons set. (I removed one of the three shims.) Add to an A-2 card base.
- Separately, create the “Birthday” sentiment portion in Black ink and cut with the banner die in the Happy Hooray Balloons set. Add to the card with foam adhesive.
- Embellish with stars cut from silver glitter foam with a die in the Merry Mug Creations set.

Spellbinders Stitching Friendship

Hello! Today, I am sharing a friendship card featuring a jar holding a miscellany of needlecraft supplies – scissors, a floss card, floss skein, thimble, buttons, needles – created with the Spellbinders April 2024 Large Die of the Month Club Kit, “Pins & Needles Jar.” Create a card for a different occasion by simply changing the sentiment!

- To create the card background, dry-emboss a 5″ x 7″ panel with the Tiny Dots folder. Add to a card base with debossed side face up.
- Cut Large Die of the Month Club Kit pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and patterned paper. Assemble as required.
- Add the assembled jar to the background. Fill with the assembled items.
- BetterPress the Always and Forever sentiment with Cosmic Sky ink on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with the coordinating die. Add to the card by “pinning” it into the jar cushion.

Spring-Themed Window Scene

Hello! I am sharing a spring-themed friendship card featuring several Sunny Studio Stamps die sets. This scene captures the essence of the spring season with charming elements like window box flowers and garden tools. The sentiment “You Brighten My Day” encapsulates the joy and warmth this card aims to convey. I recently posted a round-up of spring-themed cards HERE.

- Dry-emboss A2-size Sea Glass cardstock with the Burlap folder. Add to the card base. Cut a strip of green cardstock to represent grass and add to the card base. (Alternatively, you could use a grass die to cut the top of this piece.)
- Cut the window, window box, and shutters from a variety of cardstock colors with the Wonderful Windows die set. Assemble. Back window with yellow cardstock. (I previously used the Wonderful Windows set on a card HERE.)
- Cut flowers, garden pots, and gardening tools with dies in the Spring Garden Dies set from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- BetterPress the sentiment in Leaf ink with the Always and Forever Press Plate. Cut with coordinating die.
- Add window assembly, sentiment, flowers, pots, and garden tools to the card front, using foam adhesive where appropriate.

Fairy Tale Castle Birthday Card

Hello! Today, I am sharing a birthday card that combines the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club exclusive “Fairy Tales” die set with the Spellbinders March 2024 Large Die of the Month Club Kit “Classic Tales.” You can see my first card created with the Large Die of the Month Club Kit – “Classic Tales” – HERE.

Each month, Deluxe Caboodle Value Club members receive a bonus item. The March bonus item is the exclusive Fairy Tales die set, which is ONLY available to members of the Deluxe Caboodle Club.

- Dry-emboss an A2-size cardstock panel with the Stargazer folder. Add to card base.
- Cut castle and book pieces with the “Fairy Tales” and “Classic Tales” die sets from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- BetterPress the Let’s Celebrate sentiment in black ink on Pomegranate cardstock. Trim with the book outline die in the “Classic Tales” die set.
- Add castle, book assembly, and stars to the card front.
