Repetition in Design: Trio of Tropical Birds

Hello! Today I am sharing another card created with the Small Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders – “Tropical Friends.” I previously shared a card created with the kit HERE. On this card, I am embracing the design principle of repetition. Note: the sign-up window for new club subscriptions closes on the 27th.

- Dry-emboss a 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (slimline size) Peridot cardstock with the Puff Dotty folder. Add to card base.
- Press the Always and Forever sentiment with Cosmic Sky ink on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with the die in the set. Add the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.
- Cut birds and foliage with the Small Die of the Month kit from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble. Add elements to card front with dot and foam adhesive.

Spellbinders | Tropical Friends

Hello! Inspired by the colors and the beauty of the tropics, I have crafted a friendship card with the Small Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders called “Tropical Friends.” This set includes some super cute tropical birds! - Dry-emboss a 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ (mini-slimline size) Chamomile cardstock with the Tiny Dots folder. Add to card base debossed side up.
- Press the Always and Forever sentiment with Mermaid Lagoon ink on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with the die in the set. Add the sentiment to the center of the card front with foam adhesive.
- Cut birds and foliage with the Small Die of the Month kit from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble. Add elements to card front with dot and foam adhesive.

Thank You Card with a Needlecraft Twist

Hello! Today, I am sharing a thank you card that combines the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club exclusive “Pins & Needles Sentiments” die set with the Spellbinders April 2024 Large Die of the Month Club Kit. You can see the friendship card I created with the Large Die of the Month Club Kit – “Pins & Needles Jar” – HERE.

To create the card background, add a 5″ x 7″ panel of textured pin cardstock to a card base.
Cut Large Die of the Month Club Kit and sentiment items from a variety of cardstock colors and patterned paper. Assemble as required.
Add the assembled jar to the background. Fill with the assembled items. Embellish with enamel dots for additional texture.

Spellbinders Stitching Friendship

Hello! Today, I am sharing a friendship card featuring a jar holding a miscellany of needlecraft supplies – scissors, a floss card, floss skein, thimble, buttons, needles – created with the Spellbinders April 2024 Large Die of the Month Club Kit, “Pins & Needles Jar.” Create a card for a different occasion by simply changing the sentiment!

- To create the card background, dry-emboss a 5″ x 7″ panel with the Tiny Dots folder. Add to a card base with debossed side face up.
- Cut Large Die of the Month Club Kit pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and patterned paper. Assemble as required.
- Add the assembled jar to the background. Fill with the assembled items.
- BetterPress the Always and Forever sentiment with Cosmic Sky ink on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with the coordinating die. Add to the card by “pinning” it into the jar cushion.

Spellbinders Flossy Thanks

Hello! Today, I am sharing a thank you card featuring skeins of colorful needlecraft floss and a faux-stitched sentiment, created with the Spellbinders April 2024 Small Die of the Month Club Kit – “Faux Stitched Sentiments & Floss.”

The “Faux Stitched Sentiments & Floss” die set features 9 cutting dies. Please note, the subscription sign-up window will open on the 6th of each month and close on the 27th (once existing club members subscriptions have been processed.) If there is additional inventory remaining, then they will be made available for new subscriptions and will have limited availability.

- Add an A2-size panel of Dot and Stripe patterned paper to card base.
- With dies in the Small Die of the Month Club Kit set, cut floss skeins from cardstock and assemble. Add assembled skeins to card base.
- With a die in the Small Die of the Month Club Kit set, cut faux-stitched sentiment from Onyx, Brushed Gold, and gold glitter foam (for depth). Assemble and add to card front.
