Spellbinders | All Hearts Come Home Take Two

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas card created with the All Hearts Come Home die set from the Spellbinders Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken. Everything you need to make a holiday greeting is included in the All Hearts Come Home die set – frame, focal image, and sentiment (which I did not use on this card). I dry-embossed a Teal Topaz cardstock panel with the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder. I added the dry embossed panel to a card base and notched the bottom corners.
I cut the All Hearts Come Home die set frame from Snowdrift cardstock. I inlaid the tree and packages with Snowdrift, glitter, Mirror Silver, Lilac Blossom, and Lagoon cardstock.
I cut the house from Royal Amethyst cardstock and backed it with Snowdrift cardstock.
I cut a snowbank with a die in the Color Block Scenic Scape set and taped it to the back of the frame section. I added the assembly to the card background and added the house with foam adhesive. For this card, I left off the sentiment.

Lawn Fawn | Cheery Deer

Hello! Today, I am sharing a holiday card showcasing the cute Lawn Fawn Cheery Deer die set. I appreciate that these dies include a solid back piece; it makes the inlay technique so much easier.

To create the background, I cut the line of snowy trees with the Forest Border from SU Snowy White Velvet, trimmed it, and added it to a panel of light teal cardstock. I added the assembly to a card base.
As a frame, I cut the Forest Backdrop from white cardstock and glitter cardstock (the trees). Once assembled, I added it to the card base front.
I cut the deer with the Cheery Deer from Black Licorice, tan, Paper Bag, and Chocolate Bar cardstock, inlaying the pieces. (It occurred to me, as I was writing this post, that a small red pompom would be cute on his nose.) I cut the string of lights from Black Licorice, Lipstick Red, SU Daffodil Delight, and an MFT green that is no longer manufactured. I added the assembly to the center of the card with foam adhesive.
I stamped the Simply Winter Sentiments sentiment on Lipstick Red and cut it with one of the Everyday Sentiment Banners. To embellish, I cut snowflakes from glitter cardstock with the Mini Snowflakes dies.

Lawn Fawn | Build-A-Snowman

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Snowman die set from their Fall/Winter 2022 Release. I am noticing that I have started crafting more wintery-themed cards as the days have gotten darker and the temps cooler!

I began my adding Lawn Fawn White Stencil Paste through the Snowy Sky stencil on to paper from a winter-themed pad (because I liked the particular shade of blue). I was concerned that the paste would be too much for the paper and found myself pleased that the paste went on smoothly and dried without any issues.
The background was added to a 5-1/2 inch square card base. I needed the extra horizontal space to give the snowman and snowwoman ample room.
I cut the snowbank with a die in the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders set from glitter cardstock.
I cut the snowmen with the Build-A-Snowman set from colored, white, Light Brown Woodgrain, and Black Licorice cardstock and assembled the pieces.
I stamped the Simply Winter Sentiments in black on teal cardstock and cut it with a die in the Everyday Sentiment Banners set.
I embellished with snowflakes cut from glitter cardstock with the Mini Snowflakes set.

Spellbinders | Christmas Retro Television

Hello! I am delighted to share a Christmas card created with the Retro Television, part of the 3D Vignette Collection by Becca Feeken at Spellbinders. I shared a 3D project with this set in this blog post. This time I am using the television as a focal point on a holiday card without creating a 3D project.

Dry-emboss a 5 x 7 inches Pomegranate cardstock panel with the Puff Dotty folder.
Print television image (sized for the tv). I used a photo of Santa in a local parade.
Cut Retro Television from a variety of cardstock colors and assemble, using the Santa photo as the screen. Note: I simplified the front panel and left off the smallest knobs.
Glimmer foil Joyful Sentiments in Red on Snowdrift cardstock; cut with coordinating die.
Add television, sentiment, and snowflakes, cut with dies in the Chill Bear, Let It Snowman, and Holiday Decorations sets, to the card base.

Spellbinders | Let It Snowman Trio

Hello! Today I am sharing a trio of winter-themed cards suitable for Christmas and/or winter birthdays created with the Let It Snowman die set from the Spellbinders Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken and the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder. Everything you need to make a card is included in the Let It Snowman set – frame, focal image, and two sentiment options. I previously shared a card created with the set in this post. Dry-emboss card backgrounds from Waterfall, Lilac Blossom, and Raindrop cardstock with the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder.
Cut Let It Snowman frames, snowflakes, sentiments, and snowmen from shiny black cardstock (hats), Snowdrift, Persimmon (noses), Lilac Blossom, Teal Topaz, and Royal Amethyst cardstock. Back snowman faces with Onyx and bellies with Royal Amethyst, Cosmic Sky, and Brushed Silver cardstock. Decorate the hats with the scarf neckband (fussy cut to fit). Assemble snowmen and sentiments.
Cut snowbank from Snowdrift cardstock with die in the Color Block Scenic Scape set. Trim and add to back of frame. Add assemblies to card bases.
Add snowman, sentiment, and snowflakes to scenes.
Embellish with Crystal Gems.
