Warm and Cozy Wishes Christmas Card

Nothing says holiday comfort like cozy pajamas and adorable slippers! Today, I’m excited to share a Christmas card featuring a pair of die-cut penguin slippers at the ends of PJs, made with the “Cozy Toes Slippers” set – the October 2024 Large Die of the Month offering at Spellbinders. The set includes dies to create not only the adorable penguin slippers but also Santa, reindeer, a monster/reptile foot, and bunny slippers, offering lots of creative possibilities.

Warm and Cozy Wishes Christmas Card

    • Cover an A-2 size card base with patterned paper.
    • With the “Cozy Toes Slippers” set, cut slippers, legs, pajamas, and sentiment from a variety of cardstock colors and textures. The patterned paper used for the pajama legs coordinates with the card base, creating a cohesive design. Assemble.
    • Add elements to the card front with foam adhesive.

This card is relatively easy to create since the overall design is straightforward, at the same time, the die-cut pieces add a level of intricacy that makes it visually interesting and detailed.

Holiday Greenery Card with Natural Elegance

Hello! Embrace the quiet elegance of nature with a card that feels like a festive visit to a garden nursery, featuring realistic poinsettias, evergreen, and berry boughs tucked into a flower bucket. Using Elizabeth Craft Designs die sets, I’ve crafted a serene design that’s perfect for spreading warm, understated holiday cheer.

Holiday Greenery Card with Natural Elegance

    • With the Flower Pot / Bucket die set, cut Soft Finish cardstock. Color with Distress inks and assemble.
    • With the Florals 29, Holly Greenery, and Floral Greenery 1 die sets, cut Soft Finish cardstock. Color with Distress inks. Shape with flower tools if desired. (I have tools from Dress My Craft, Heartfelt Creations, and McGill.) Assemble. I used Dress My Craft Pollen for the centers of the two small white flowers.
    • Create 5″ x 7″ card base and cover with Soft Finish cardstock. Add a 4 5/8″ x 6 5/8″ Evergreen Season Collection Solids 1 patterned paper panel.
    • Stamp Holiday Snippets sentiment in brown ink on the smooth side of Soft Finish cardstock. Cut with small tag die (I used a die from a now-retired MFT tag set).
    • Add assembled items and sentiment tag to the card front with foam and dot adhesive.
