Spellbinders | CAS Anemone Blooms

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS friendship card to showcase products in the Spellbinders Anemone Blooms Collection designed by Yana Smakula. I previously shared a card using products from the collection here.

Cut Anemones from Phone Booth cardstock. Tape bloom pieces from the back. (I found that if I only made one pass with the cutting machine and carefully removed the die-cut, I was able to keep the bloom pieces in the frame.)
Cut center pieces from Onyx cardstock with the Anemones die. Insert centers into floral clusters.
Cut outline of Anemones from Snowdrift cardstock and adhere to floral piece.
Glimmer foil sentiment with plate in the Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments set in Opaque Black on a Sea Glass cardstock panel. The messages in the set work on both the front and inside of cards. Trim panel to 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches.
Add assembled anemones to panel and embellish with Silver Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | Color Block Valentine

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS, color block Valentine created with Spellbinders supplies including a sentiment from the Anemone Blooms Collection designed by Yana Smakula.

Repetition is one of my favorite design principles: I cut sixteen one-inch squares and sixteen hearts from five colors to make a four-inch square.

Cut colored cardstock with Nestabilities Essential Squares die. Tape squares together on the back.
Cut hearts using the heart die in the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations set. (There are three hearts on one die; I used the middle one.) Add hearts to squares with foam adhesive.
Glimmer foil sentiment with Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments plate in Opaque Black on a Snowdrift panel.
Trim panel, add to A2-size card base, add heart assembly.

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day 24 + Clearance Sale

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Christmas card created with the Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar Day 24 surprise – a pickup truck with presents. Today is the final window on the calendar. Dry emboss Snowdrift cardstock with Flurry of Snowflakes 3D folder, trim, and add to card base.
Apply stencil paste through the Layered Christmas Tree stencil on Cosmic Sky cardstock, sprinkle on Sparkle Dust Glitter, and set aside to dry. Once dry, cut with arch in the Essential Arches set.
Glimmer foil Glitter Wishes sentiment on Snowdrift in Gold. Cut panel with arch in the Essential Arches set and Color Block Scenic Scape die. Add snowbank to stenciled sky and attach to card base.
Cut truck and presents, assemble, and add to scene.
Embellish with snowflakes. I grabbed some off my worktable!

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Days 12 + 14

Hello! Today, I am sharing card created with the Day 12 and Day 14 surprises – a bird die set and a pair of floral greenery (I used one of the two) – in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders. Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration. I also used the solid heart die from Day 8.

Dry-emboss light blue cardstock with the December 2022 embossing folder; trim to 3 7/8-inch square. Add to 4 1/4-inch white cardstock card base.
Cut heart using the Advent Calendar Day 8 die from Vellum.
Glimmer foil the Be Bold sentiment on Snowdrift in Gold; cut with coordinating die.
Cut bird from Snowdrift, Onyx, Brushed Gold, and red cardstock; assemble.
Cut branch from Brushed Gold and Snowdrift cardstock; assemble.
Add heart, bird, branch, and sentiment to card; embellish with Gold Mix Gems.

Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day 10

Hello! Today, I am sharing card created with the Day Ten surprise – a set of flower and greenery dies – in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders. Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration. I also used the solid heart die from Day 8.

Create a frame from Snowdrift cardstock with the Fluted Classics Squares dies. Back with light teal cardstock and add to card base. The card measures 4 1/2 inches square.
Glimmer foil Be Bold sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift and cut with the coordinating die.

With the Day Ten dies, cut flowers and greenery from colored and Snowdrift cardstock; assemble. (Additional leaves were fussy-cut from the leafy branch.) Add elements to heart cut from Vellum using one of the Day Eight dies.
Add heart, flowers and greenery, and sentiment to the card; embellish with Gold Mix Gems.
