Spellbinders | May 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS birthday card created with the Spellbinders May 2022 Embossing Folder Membership “Faux Stitch.” I shared another card with this folder here.

Dry-emboss yellow, orange, pink, and blue cardstock with the May 2022 Embossing Folder. Cut circles from the panels.
Attach embossed circles to Snowdrift card base sized 5 x 7 inches.
Cut sentiment from Onyx and Snowdrift cardstock using dies in the Large Die of the Month Membership. Assemble and add to card base.

That’s it! A quick-and-easy birthday card that packs a lot of punch with color and texture.

Rubbernecker | April 2022 Release Day Two

Hello! I am back sharing two more cards that feature the Rubbernecker April release. See my previous post here.

My first card showcases the Model A Truck on a masculine card.

I paired the Model A Truck with the Barn and a fun sentiment in the Dad Phrases set.

The scene background was created with the Peak Fence #4 and Slimline Grass.

My second card features one of the new cover plates – the Circle Stitch Cover die – on a CAS birthday card.

I paired the Circle Stitch Cover die with a heat-embossed sentiment in the Birthday Vase set.

After inlaying the colored panels in the white cardstock frame, I embellished the card with hearts cut with a die in the Shed Bird House set.

Rubbernecker | Farmyard Birthday Card

Hello! Today, I am sharing a farm-themed birthday card created with Rubbernecker dies and stamp set.

Create focal elements

Cut cows with the Farm Animals die from cardstock. Back nostrils with black cardstock. Glue bell to female and nose ring to bull. Optional: Cut eyes from black cardstock using die in the Submarine set and glue to faces.
Cut barn building, doors, and window with Barn set from white, gray, and dark red cardstock; assemble.

Create background and frame

Cut grass from green cardstock with a die in the Slimline Grass set.
Cut frame with largest die in the Outside Scallop Frame set from white cardstock.
Stamp Birthday Vase sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on light blue cardstock panel.
Cut Peak Fence #4 twice from white cardstock. Tape together on back allowing enough fence to span the dimensions of the frame.

Assemble

Trim grass and glue to the bottom of frame from the back.
Trim fence assembly and add to back of frame.
Trim stamped background and affix to the back of the frame.
Add frame to yellow, A2-size card base.
Add barn and cows to scene.

Embellish

Cut sun from yellow cardstock with Sun Moon die and tuck behind barn.
Cut cloud from white cardstock with Clouds die and add to scene with foam adhesive.
Cut small flowers from yellow cardstock with Small Flowers #3 die set. Shape flowers with shaping stylus in the Paper Blossom Tool Kit. Add white crystal drops to centers. Once dry, glue to fence.

Rubbernecker | Golf Enthusiast Birthday Card

Fore! Do you have a golfer in your family or as a friend? Today, I am sharing a golf-themed birthday card created with Rubbernecker supplies.

Stamp Golf Phrases sentiment in VersaFine Onyx ink on a light-blue cardstock panel. This stamp set includes phrases for a variety of occasions including birthdays and retirements.
Die-cut green cardstock with one of the Slimline Grass dies.
Die-cut lighter-green cardstock with one of the Slimline Hills dies.
Die-cut Golf Cart from colored, brushed silver, black, and white cardstock. Assemble Golf Cart according to instructions on the product description link.
Die-cut Golf Bag and Flag Stick from white, brushed silver, silver foil, and colored cardstock; partially assemble. Color die-cut golf hole with green ink to distinguish it from the grass.
Die-cut Balloons from colored and white cardstock.; do not assemble at this point.
Using the Golf Cart, Golf Bag, and Flag Stick for positioning, trim the stamped background panel so that the sentiment is between the golf cart and the top of the flag stick.
Adhere grass and hill together, attach to background, and trim panel.
Adhere background panel to A2-size card base.
Add hole to grass with foam adhesive; slip flag stick into hole, with small amount of glue at the bottom, and adhere flag to background with foam adhesive.

Adhere golf bag to golf cart. Adhere assembly to the background with foam adhesive.
Position balloons behind the golf cart, trim strings as necessary, and glue to background.

Spellbinders September 2021 Clear Stamp Club

Hello crafty friends! I’m delighted to share a birthday card created with the Spellbinders September 2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club – “A Little Birdie Told Me.” The stamp set is designed to work with the other Club Kits. Find out more about the stamp set here.

In black ink, stamp the birds, flowers, sentiment flag, and foliage on to cardstock colored with Distress Oxide inks. Cut the images with the coordinating die set (available separately).
Create a Snowdrift cardstock background with the Mini Slimline set (black with Onyx cardstock). Stamp the wreath images in black ink on to the background. Add Distress Oxide ink to the center of the circles. Add panel to teal cardstock card base.
Adhere the elements to the card with dot and foam adhesive. Add Silver Mix Gems to the flower centers and to the wing of the largest bird.
