Cheers to Love: Spellbinders Valentine Card

Hello! Raise a glass to love with this trendy Valentine card! Created with the Love on the Rocks die set by Spellbinders, this design has everything you need to toast to romance—a highball tumbler, straw, stir stick, heart-shaped accents, and even ice cubes! Paired with the sweet “PS I Love You” sentiment and a patterned paper background, this card is perfect for celebrating love with friends, family, or a special someone.

- Cover an A2-size card base with pink cardstock.
- Cut patterned paper (Echo Park Love Notes) with a die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set.
- Cut textured white cardstock with the next largest oval die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set. Add patterned paper oval to white cardstock one; add assembly to the card base.
- Cut pieces of the tumbler and accessories with dies in the Love on the Rocks set from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble tumbler, straw, and skewer.
- Cut the straw to create the illusion that the straw is in the drink and add to the tumbler. Back tumbler assembly with vellum (fussy-cut).
- Glimmer foil the sentiment with a plate in the Mini Everyday Sentiments set in Red foil. Cut with the coordinating die and add to card.
- Add tumbler to card with foam squares. Attach the heart skewer to the top of the tumbler with glue.

Say Hello with Floral Elegance

Hello! Say “hello” in style with this easy-to-make card featuring the Spellbinders December 2024 Small Die Kit Club set – “Blooming Hello.” The large “H” is adorned with delicate floral elements and set against a patterned paper background. Using muted colors, this design offers a touch of vintage charm that’s perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, this card’s simplicity and elegance make it a joy to create.

- Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper. (I used a sheet from the Echo Park Love Notes pack.)
- Cut letters and floral items from a variety of cardstock colors with the Small Die set.
- Add the letters to the card background with foam squares.
- Assemble floral elements as needed and add to the “H” with glue and foam squares.

Christmas Window Scene for 52CCT Challenge

Hello! This week’s 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge provided the perfect opportunity to create a festive holiday card using the August Sketch Challenge graphic as inspiration.

My design showcases a cozy window scene with die-cut shutters framing a decorated Christmas tree. A patterned paper background and intricate snowflake borders add seasonal charm, while the “Merry Christmas” sentiment completes the look. Let’s dive into the details of this cheerful creation!

- Cover A-2 card base with patterned paper.
- Cut the Snow Flurries Backdrop from Snowdrift cardstock and add to card front.
- With the Wonderful Windows die, cut the window and shutters from a variety of cardstock colors.
- Cut the Christmas tree from green cardstock. I used a now-retired Memory Box die (Frosted Christmas tree) and inked with Rustic Wilderness ink to create more contrast.
- Trim the bottom of the tree, add to a yellow cardstock panel (SU So Saffron), and attach the assembly to the back of the window with foam adhesive. Attach the assembled shutters and add gold latches. Decorate the tree with adhesive pearls and gold circles (I used a die in the Wonderful Windows set). Attach the window and shutters to the card front with dot adhesive.
- Press the Merry & Bright sentiment in Geranium ink on Snowdrift cardstock and cut with the coordinating die in the set. Add to the card with foam adhesive.

Monster Love: Easy Valentine’s Day Card

Hello! Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to get creative, and what’s more charming than a playful monster spreading love? This card, made with the Spellbinders December 2024 Large Die Kit Club Monster Love Pop set, combines an adorable die-cut monster, a heart accent, and the simple sentiment “Be Mine.” With a patterned paper background and a die-cut frame to spotlight the monster, this card is as easy to make as it is delightful to give.

- Create a patterned paper frame (Love Notes) with a die in the Underwater Tunnel set. Add to an A2-size card base with foam adhesive.
- Cut the monster, heart, and sentiment with dies in the Monster Love Pop set from a variety of cardstock colors. Also cut glitter foam with the heart and monster body. Assemble. The glitter foam provides dimension.
- Add heart, monster, and sentiment to center of card.

With its whimsical design, easy assembly, and the use of patterned paper to add visual interest, this card is perfect for crafting a heartfelt Valentine with minimal effort!

Bear, Santa & Reindeer Gift Tags

Hello! Adding a handmade touch to holiday gifts makes them even more special! Today, I’m sharing a set of three Christmas gift tags I created using Spellbinders dies. The tags feature a bundled polar bear, a classic Santa, and a festive reindeer—all designed to coordinate with the gift wrap for presents I’ve prepared for my granddaughter.
