Rubbernecker | Father’s Day

Hello! Father’s Day (June 19) is just around the corner. I am sharing a whimsical card for the occasion created with a variety of Rubbernecker supplies. FYI: Rubbernecker transitioned its business, and the products mentioned below may now be available at Brass and Bliss.

Create a frame by cutting an A2-size ivory cardstock panel with the second largest die in the Nested Rectangle set.
Stamp the Dad Phrases sentiment on to light blue cardstock; trim panel.
Cut Pine Tree Forest from green cardstock; trim and adhere to the stamped panel.
Cut dog with Set of Dogs dies and assemble.
Cut Lake Boat and assemble. Tape dog to the back of the boat.
Cut Slimline Waves from blue cardstock and add to background.
Cut Slimline Grass from green cardstock, lighter than the shade used on the trees, and add to background; leave room to slip the dog and boat assembly between the water and grass.
Cut Reeds from green and brown cardstock. Trim off the brown cardstock tops and glue to the green ones. Add to front of the grass.
Adhere frame to front of card with foam adhesive. Add dog and boat to scene and secure.

Rubbernecker | June 2022 Summertime Release

Today Rubbernecker is celebrating their Summer Release! Head over to see the stamp sets designed with summer in mind, suitable for a wide variety of occasions. I created a single-layer, fireworks-themed, birthday card showcasing the 4th of July Fireworks set.

Heat-emboss the 4th of July Fireworks sentiment in white on black cardstock.
Stamp the first layer of the images of 4th of July Fireworks with white pigment ink. (One of the set’s images is repeated.) Let white pigment ink dry or dry with heat embossing tool.
Heat-emboss the second layer of the fireworks with tinsel embossing powders; gold, red, and blue shown.
Trim panel and add to white cardstock A2-size base.

Dry-emboss mini-slimline sized Lilac Blossom cardstock panel with the Embossing Folder Membership. Cut a circle in the panel slightly above the center.
Cut sentiment and flowers with the Large Die of the Month “Paisley Dreams” set from Brushed Gold and Snowdrift cardstock. Assemble flowers.
Glimmer-foil the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments set in Matte Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Attach to back of dry-embossed panel. Add assembly to a mini-slimline card base.
Adhere die-cut elements to card.

Spellbinders | June 2022 Large Die of the Month

Hello and happy June (the year is passing by quicky)! I am sharing an A2-sized card created with the June 2022 Large Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month memberships at Spellbinders.

Dry-emboss light-teal cardstock with the Embossing Folder of the Month “Botanical Diamond.” Attach to card base.
With the Large Die of the Month “Paisley Dreams” set, cut elements from Snowdrift, Brushed Gold, orange, and dark teal cardstock. Assemble.
Glimmer-foil in Matte Gold on Snowdrift the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments set. Cut with die in the Large Die of the Month set.
Add elements to dry-embossed card background.

Rubbernecker | Nautical-themed Hello

Hello! Today, in celebration of the fact that it is almost summer, I am sharing a nautical-themed card featuring Rubbernecker dies, stencil, and stamp set.

Stencil Sun Burst in yellow ink on white cardstock.
Cut Light House and keeper’s cottage (in the same set) from white, gray, red, and yellow cardstock.; assemble.
Cut wave from blue cardstock with a die in the Slimline Waves set.
Cut beach from sand-colored cardstock with a die in the Slimline Hills set.
Assemble A2-size card front, adhering the wave and beach to the sun background, leaving room between the two for the lighthouse structure.
Add lighthouse and cottage to the scene.
Stamp sentiment from Mini Simple Sayings on to a cloud cut with the Clouds set.
Embellish with Seagulls cut from light-gray cardstock.
