Elizabeth Craft Designs | Scarecrow’s Harvest Delight

Hello! Today, I am sharing a fall-themed card created with Elizabeth Craft Designs supplies. Picture a picturesque pumpkin patch, a scarecrow standing guard, and a cart bursting with pumpkins. It’s a heartwarming scene that captures the essence of autumn, with a heartfelt greeting that simply says, “Hello Fall.”

Elizabeth Craft Designs | Scarecrow's Harvest Delight

  • To begin, color Soft Finish cardstock with Distress Oxide inks of choice.
  • Die-cut pieces for the Scarecrow and Hay Ride from the ink-colored cardstock. Assemble. To create the mouth on the scarecrow, I cut a piece of vellum with a 1/2-inch circle die. I used the negative portion to draw the mouth using a Permawriter II size 03 pen. (I am writing this specifically so I will remember for next time.)
  • Dry emboss a Sea Glass A2-size cardstock panel with a folder for subtle texture. (Note: I used the now-retired SU Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions folder. The shim required is the base platform, the folder with the cardstock inside, and one cutting plate.)
  • Cut ground with die in Adventure Edges 2 from inked cardstock. Cut the fence from Woodgrain cardstock with die in the same set. Add to card base.
  • Attach cart and scarecrow to card with foam adhesive. Fill cart with leaves and pumpkins.
  • Stamp Autumn Words sentiment in Icing on the Cake ink on Taylored Expressions Sugar Cube cardstock and cut with the smallest die in the Small Stitched Rectangles set. Attach to card.

Hugs in a Mug – A Cozy Christmas Card

Hello! Picture a cozy scene filled with the aroma of cocoa and the joy of festive treats. Today, I am depicting that scene with the Elizabeth Craft Designs Warm Winter Mug die set and the Holiday Treats stamp set.

Hugs in a Mug - A Cozy Christmas Card

The Warm Winter Mug die set and the Holiday Treats stamp set were part of the Cozy and Warm Collection, released last year; you can see more about the release in this video.

  • Cut the Warm Winter Mug pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and assemble.
  • To create the ombré background, apply Festive Berries Oxide ink to white cardstock.
  • Stamp the sentiment “hugs in a mug” from the Holiday Treats set on to the inked panel and trim to 5″ wide by 5 1/4″ tall. I let the width and height of the mug dictate the card size. Add panel to card base.
  • Finally, embellish with Mini Snowflakes cut from white glitter foam to fill the empty spaces and enhance the wintery feel.

Crafting Warmth | Christmas in July

Hello! Today I am showcasing Elizabeth Craft Designs products – the Sweater Season die set and Holiday Treats stamp set – on a holiday card. These sets were part of the Cozy and Warm Collection, released last year; you can see more about the release in this video. I am currently enjoying participating in the ongoing Christmas in July celebration at Scrapbook.com, as it builds anticipation for the upcoming holiday season.

Crafting Warmth | Christmas in July

Using the Sweater Season die set, I cut two winter sweaters from wool felt, adding warmth and coziness to the card. The sentiment, from the Holiday Treats set, stamped on a woodgrain pattern, also reinforces the winter theme.

Step-by-step instructions to create the holiday card:

    • Cut the sweaters from wool felt using the Sweater Season die set. Assemble. For greater stability, I cut backs for the sweaters from cardstock. I trimmed the edges of the cardstock so that only the felt was visible. Note: I used the Scarecrow die set to cut the eyes from Crushed Black Velvet cardstock for the bear.
    • Stamp the sentiment “Cozy Winter Vibes” from the Holiday Treats set on to a six by six inches woodgrain patterned paper panel. Add to card base.
    • Add die-cut snowflakes to fill in the white space and enhance the wintery feel.

With just a change of colors, the sweater and sentiment would work on autumn-themed, Valentine’s Day, or winter-themed (non-Christmas holiday) cards.

Elizabeth Craft Designs | Halloween Gnome

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Halloween-themed card featuring a combination of Elizabeth Craft Designs supplies.

Elizabeth Craft Designs | Halloween Gnome

  • I colored Soft Finish cardstock in a variety of Distress Oxide ink colors from which I cut the Gnome, cauldron (included in the Halloween Accessories set), and pumpkin (in the Hay Ride set). I used a die in the Scarecrow set to cut the eyes.
  • I stamped the Autumn Words sentiment on white cardstock to which I applied Hickory Smoke and Tumbled Glass ink for the ground and sky.
  • I added the inked sentiment panel to a card base covered with paper in the Halloween pad to reinforce the theme.

Hello! Today, I am sharing a fall-themed card featuring the Elizabeth Craft Designs Scarecrow die set.

Elizabeth Craft Designs | Scarecrow

  • I colored Soft Finish cardstock with a variety of Distress Oxide inks from which I cut the Scarecrow pieces.
  • I stamped a white cardstock panel with the Autumn Words sentiment and cut it with the largest die in the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables set.
  • I added the stamped panel to an A2-size background of PhotoPlay Fall Plaids paper, which I attached to a card base.
  • I added the assembled Scarecrow and crows (cut with the same die set) to the panel.
