- Dry-emboss Sea Glass cardstock A2-size panel with the Tiny Dots folder; add to card base.
- Adhere strip of dark gray cardstock (Taylored Expressions Poppy Seed) along the bottom as a ground.
- Cut the house and snail from cardstock with the Mushroom Mansion die set; assemble.
- Cut the gnome with dies in the Garden Buddies set; assemble.
- Cut the heart wand and embellishment hearts with dies in the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations set.
- Cut the sentiment from black cardstock and vellum with dies in the Space Greetings set; assemble.
- Add assembled items to the card base with dot and foam adhesive.

Storybook House Valentine

Hello! After posting this roundup of house-themed cards, I was inspired to craft a storybook house Valentine with a heart serving as the house body. Using Lawn Fawn dies for the roof, door, and windows, I transformed a simple idea into a whimsical creation full of charm. Let me take you through how I made this Valentine’s Day card

- The overall card size is 5″ square. I do not own a die that size, but I realized I could use by rectangular die to cut the sky and the ground to form a square. To begin, use a 5″ x 3 3/4″ rectangle die to cut light teal cardstock. Apply modeling paste through the Fall Hearts stencil and set aside to dry.
- Stamp the Simply Celebrate Hearts sentiment on white cardstock. Cut the top with a die in the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders set and the base with a 5″ x 3 3/4″ rectangle die. Adhere the sky and snowbank to a 5″ square card base.
- Use a heart die to cut the house base from textured red cardstock. I used a now-retired nesting set from Spellbinders.
- Use dies in the Build-A-House, Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On, and Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On sets to cut the door, window, roof pieces, and stairs; assemble as required.
- Add the assembled elements to the heart house with foam adhesive. Add the assembly to the card base.

Cozy Toes Slippers: Valentine’s Card Twist

Hello! While the Cozy Toes Slippers set (the October 2024 Large Die of the Month offering at Spellbinders) is designed with the holidays in mind, its versatility makes it perfect for a variety of occasions. For Valentine’s Day, I paired penguin slippers with a charming custom sentiment. This project showcases how a single die set can inspire many creative possibilities, adapting the same design for different themes.

- Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Echo Park Love Notes patterned paper.
- Add a strip of gray cardstock and white cardstock along the bottom of the patterned paper panel to simulate a floor and baseboard.
- Cut the Cozy Toes Slippers from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Add the slippers to the patterned paper panel. Trim along the top as necessary and add to an A2-size card base.
- Create a custom sentiment on your computer and cut with the banner die in the Cozy Toes Slippers set. Add to the card front with foam adhesive.

Elegant Valentine Card with a Monster Twist

Hello! Following the design of my first Valentine’s Day card with the Spellbinders December 2024 Large Die Kit Club Monster Love Pop set, I’ve created a new version with this month’s Caboodle Bonus! This card showcases a playful monster in formal Valentine colors—gold, black, white, and red—holding a love letter in one hand and a heart on a stick in the other. This card combines sophistication with whimsy. Scroll for info on the Big Holiday Wrap-Up, available from December 17, 2024, to December 25, 2024, at 11:59 PST.

- Create a patterned paper frame (Honey Bee Pinstripes And Polka Dots Holiday) with a die in the Underwater Tunnel set.
- Adhere a coordinating patterned paper to an A2-size card base, leaving a narrow white border from the cardstock base for added contrast.
- Add the frame to the base with foam adhesive.
- Cut the monster, heart, and sentiment with dies in the Monster Love Pop and You’re My Favorite Monster sets from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Cut accessories and heart embellishments with dies in the Parcel & Post Mailbox and Parcel & Post Heart Decorations sets.
- Press the Always and Forever sentiment and cut with the coordinating die.

Cheers to Love: Spellbinders Valentine Card

Hello! Raise a glass to love with this trendy Valentine card! Created with the Love on the Rocks die set by Spellbinders, this design has everything you need to toast to romance—a highball tumbler, straw, stir stick, heart-shaped accents, and even ice cubes! Paired with the sweet “PS I Love You” sentiment and a patterned paper background, this card is perfect for celebrating love with friends, family, or a special someone.

- Cover an A2-size card base with pink cardstock.
- Cut patterned paper (Echo Park Love Notes) with a die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set.
- Cut textured white cardstock with the next largest oval die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set. Add patterned paper oval to white cardstock one; add assembly to the card base.
- Cut pieces of the tumbler and accessories with dies in the Love on the Rocks set from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble tumbler, straw, and skewer.
- Cut the straw to create the illusion that the straw is in the drink and add to the tumbler. Back tumbler assembly with vellum (fussy-cut).
- Glimmer foil the sentiment with a plate in the Mini Everyday Sentiments set in Red foil. Cut with the coordinating die and add to card.
- Add tumbler to card with foam squares. Attach the heart skewer to the top of the tumbler with glue.
