Spellbinders | August 2022 Large Die + Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello and happy August! I am in disbelief that it is already August. Today I am sharing a card created with the Spellbinders August 2022 Large Die of the Month “Strawberry Patch” (more info here) paired with this month’s timeless and elegant Embossing Folder “Intertwined Lattice” (more info here).

Dry-emboss A2-size card panel with the Embossing Folder and attach to card base.

Die-cut strawberries, basket, leaves, and flowers from cardstock. Assemble and add to card background. I used the cardstock from which I cut the basket to trace the basket outline on a piece of same-colored cardstock. I fussy-cut the piece and arranged the strawberries on top, gluing the open basket last.

Stamp the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments sentiment on Snowdrift cardstock and cut it with a die in the Assorted Tags set, adding twine through the hole and gluing it on to the basket.

Spellbinders | July 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month + A Sale

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS, mini-slimline, celebration card showcasing the Spellbinders July 2022 Embossing Folder Membership “Geometric Stripes.” And Spellbinders is having a Star Spangled Savings Event, offering deep savings on Spellbinders products!

Emboss cardstock in a variety of colors with the July Embossing Folder. Cut dry-embossed panels, reassemble, and trim to mini slimline size.
Cut circle from the center with a die in the Fluted Classics set.
Glimmer foil the Birthday Unboxing sentiment in Teal on Snowdrift cardstock.
Add foiled panel to back of dry-embossed panel.
Cut balloons with dies in the Open Road set. Add to center with dot and foam adhesive.
Embellish with Teal Sequins.

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS, mini-slimline card showcasing the Spellbinders June 2022 Embossing Folder Membership “Botanical Diamond.” I shared another card with this folder here. Dry-emboss mini-slimline sized Lilac Blossom cardstock panel with the Embossing Folder Membership. Cut a circle in the panel slightly above the center.
Cut sentiment and flowers with the Large Die of the Month “Paisley Dreams” set from Brushed Gold and Snowdrift cardstock. Assemble flowers.
Glimmer-foil the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments set in Matte Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Attach to back of dry-embossed panel. Add assembly to a mini-slimline card base.
Adhere die-cut elements to card.

Spellbinders | June 2022 Large Die of the Month

Hello and happy June (the year is passing by quicky)! I am sharing an A2-sized card created with the June 2022 Large Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month memberships at Spellbinders.

Dry-emboss light-teal cardstock with the Embossing Folder of the Month “Botanical Diamond.” Attach to card base.
With the Large Die of the Month “Paisley Dreams” set, cut elements from Snowdrift, Brushed Gold, orange, and dark teal cardstock. Assemble.
Glimmer-foil in Matte Gold on Snowdrift the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments set. Cut with die in the Large Die of the Month set.
Add elements to dry-embossed card background.

Spellbinders | May 2022 Club Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello! I am delighted to be participating in a blog hop celebrating the Spellbinders May 2022 Club Subscriptions. You should have reached me from the blog of Jennifer Kotas. For the hop, I created a die-cut, mini-slimline, birthday card with this month’s Large Die of the Month kit “Stitched for You” and Embossing Folder Kit Club “Faux Stitch.”

Dry-emboss sky with Embossing Folder Kit Club “Faux Stitch.” Attach gray cardstock ground to the sky panel (I put the debossed side up) and add assembly to mini-slimline card base.
Cut Open Road car and balloons. Assemble car. Glue strings to balloons. Once dry, loop strings through the piece on the car.
Cut sentiment with dies in the Large Die of the Month kit “Stitched for You” from Onyx cardstock. To precisely place the letters on the card, I cut the sentiment mats (separate dies) with the letters in place as guides. Given the mini-slimline size, I did not have enough room to include the sentiment mats on the card.
Embellish with Silver Mix Gems.
