Spellbinders | Advent Calendar Day Three

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with the Day Three surprise in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders– a wavy die (another die, which I did not use, was also included). Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration.

I glimmer-foiled in Gold the Glimmer Wishes sentiment on a Pomegranate panel.
I cut the panel with the largest Essential Arches die. I then cut the panel with the tree die in the Blooming Tree set.
I used the advent calendar die to cut the wavy piece from Brushed Gold for nine strips. I adhered the stripes to a Fern cardstock panel.
I trimmed the Fern panel, adhered the arch panel on top, and added the assembly to an off-white card base. I embellished the tree with a star cut from Brushed Gold with a die in the Holiday Decorations set.

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS friendship card created with the Day Two surprise in the Crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders– a stamp set with flowers and a sentiment. Follow along on the Spellbinders blog for daily inspiration.

I created a card background from Lilac Blossom cardstock dry-embossed with the Puff Dotty folder.
I stamped the floral images and sentiment on Snowdrift cardstock, trimmed it with a die in the Essential Rectangles set.

Spellbinders | November 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS card showcasing the Spellbinders November 2022 Embossing Folder “Fan Motif.” This embossing folder lends itself number of occasions; I paired it with a silhouette Christmas tree to create a holiday card.

Dry-emboss Brushed Gold cardstock with the November 2022 Embossing Folder. Trim and mat with Mirror Gold cardstock. Add to card base.
Use the die in the Blooming Tree set to cut the tree from green cardstock.
Cut sentiment from Gold Glitter Foam with the Classic Happy Holidays set and add to tree.
Embellish tree with Red Mix Gems and star.
Add assembled tree to the card with foam adhesive.

Lawn Fawn | Halloween Mug

Hello! Today I am sharing a Halloween-themed card created with a combination of Lawn Fawn products. I am a cute Halloween person, as opposed to a scary Halloween person. And I like the colors!

Stamp Happy Howloween sentiment in black on light-purple cardstock. Cut with the largest die in the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables set. Attach to card base.
With the Outside In Stitched Mug set, cut mug from dark orange cardstock, the tea bag from teal cardstock, and the string from white cardstock. Shade mug with Distress Ink.
Cut ghosts from white cardstock with dies in the Build-A-House Halloween Add-On set and in the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On set. Back with black cardstock.
Cut bats and cat from black cardstock with dies in the Build-A-House Halloween Add-On set and in the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On set. Back cat face with green cardstock.
Use Cole’s ABCs to cut sentiment for mug from white glitter foam. Adhere to mug.
Arrange elements on card front.

Spellbinders | Simon Hurley Joyful Christmas

Hello! I am delighted to share two Christmas cards created with products from the Joyful Christmas Collection at Spellbinders.

Let’s start with the Floral Stag die set paired with the Joyful Christmas Sentiments set.

Cover A2 card base with patterned paper.
Add oval cut from vellum to center.
Cut Floral Stag pieces-detailed stag and holiday floral accents-from cardstock colored with Distress inks; assemble.
Foil sentiment in Silver on Snowdrift cardstock with Joyful Christmas Sentiments set and cut with coordinating die. (Five holiday sentiments are included on one hot foil plate that is foiled all at once. With the matching die, all the sentiments can be die-cut at the same time.)
Add Floral Stag pieces and sentiment to card front, popping up some with foam adhesive.

My next card showcases the Candy Stripes cover plate, which fits an A2-size card front, paired with the Joyful Christmas Sentiments set.

With Candy Stripes die set, cut Mirror Gold and Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere to silver foil cardstock A2-size panel and add to card base.
Foil sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift cardstock with Joyful Christmas Sentiments set and cut with coordinating die.
Cut ornament from Red Glitter Foam and Mirror Silver using the Nordic Ornaments die. Assemble, add sentiment with foam adhesive, tie bow with silver twine. Add to center of card front.
