Spellbinders | June 2022 Large Die of the Month

Hello and happy June (the year is passing by quicky)! I am sharing an A2-sized card created with the June 2022 Large Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month memberships at Spellbinders.

Dry-emboss light-teal cardstock with the Embossing Folder of the Month “Botanical Diamond.” Attach to card base.
With the Large Die of the Month “Paisley Dreams” set, cut elements from Snowdrift, Brushed Gold, orange, and dark teal cardstock. Assemble.
Glimmer-foil in Matte Gold on Snowdrift the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments set. Cut with die in the Large Die of the Month set.
Add elements to dry-embossed card background.

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS, mini slimline card featuring the Spellbinders Color Block Mini Shapes – Petals. I previously shared three cards showcasing the Color Block Mini Shapes Collection here.

Dry-emboss a mini slimline base with the Diamond Plaid folder.
Cut Color Block Mini Shapes – Petals from navy, light blue, tan, and dark brown cardstock (cutting each color eight times). Cut base from ivory cardstock with solid petal die. Assemble. Note: I left the centers of the petals empty, revealing the ivory base.
Foil Be Bold “Hello” in Matte Gold on ivory cardstock; cut with coordinating die.
Tape petals together on back. Add to dry-embossed base. Add sentiment with foam adhesive.

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS birthday card created with the Spellbinders May 2022 Embossing Folder Membership “Faux Stitch.” I shared another card with this folder here.

Dry-emboss yellow, orange, pink, and blue cardstock with the May 2022 Embossing Folder. Cut circles from the panels.
Attach embossed circles to Snowdrift card base sized 5 x 7 inches.
Cut sentiment from Onyx and Snowdrift cardstock using dies in the Large Die of the Month Membership. Assemble and add to card base.

That’s it! A quick-and-easy birthday card that packs a lot of punch with color and texture.

Hello and happy May (one of my favorite months)! I am sharing a faux-stitch, slimline card created with the May 2022 Large Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month Memberships at Spellbinders.

Dry-emboss coral slimline panel with the May 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month “Faux Stitch.” Attach to slimline card base.
Cut sentiment from Snowdrift and Brushed Gold cardstock with dies in the May 2022 Large Die of the Month “Stitched for You” set.
Back the stitching holes in the “you” with coral cardstock as a quick-and-easy alternative to stitching the holes.
Assemble sentiments and add to card base.
For embellishment, cut flowers, flower centers, and leaves with dies in the Be Bold Blooms, Mini Blooms and Sprigs, Lemon Zest, Kaleidoscope Argyle, and Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline sets from Snowdrift and Brushed Gold cardstock. Assemble and add to base.

Hello! Today I am sharing two takes with Spellbinders products to introduce the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken.

I used the Layered Cherry Blossoms set on an A2-size card and a mini slimline card. Let’s take a look!

To create the card shown on the right:

Dry-emboss A2-size panel of light teal with the Diamond Plaid embossing folder.
Cut Layered Cherry Blossoms from Snowdrift cardstock colored with Distress Oxide inks. Cut flower centers from gold foil cardstock. Assemble flowers; add flowers and leaves to branches. Add assembly to card background.
Foil sentiment in Gold with plate in the Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set.
Embellish with Gold Mix gems.

Dry-emboss mini slimline-size background of lavender cardstock with the Diamond Plaid embossing folder.
Cut Layered Cherry Blossoms from Snowdrift cardstock. Cut flower centers from gold foil cardstock. Assemble flowers; add flowers and leaves to branches. Add assembly to card background.
Foil sentiment in Gold with plate in the Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set.
Embellish with Spectrum AB gems.
